Wow, 20 percent of the players hit the next button an average of over 100 times a raid. I guess my point about response bias affecting point has been totally disproven.

i tried starting a poll that was much more accurate, but it got shut down
Varies for me; sometimes 30, 50, 100, 200, 300+
you guys might be surprised to know that film studios use focus groups very similar to polls like this to judge what stays and what gets cut out of a big-budget movie. The group is small too, many 100-200 people at most. The people in the groups are random, and can vote however they want. If they want to troll they can, or they can be honest. however, writers and directors dislike focus groups because random people have the ability to make changes to their creation. Yet film studios still use focus groups because, despite how the creator complain, it has a proven-history of accurately predicting how the mass-market will react to the film when it's release.
The point I'm trying to make is that this forum very closely resembles a focus group - meaning when a lot of people are complaining about the same thing, there probably is a real issue. Look at the hog situation if you disagree. Personally, never had a problem with the hog stats, and I only got raided by them infrequently. Yes they wiped my base, but it happened only a few times. So when I saw posts about 'hogs are OP' I said I didn't think so, but the majority ruled against me, and SC nerfed them. Now you might argue SC listened to the whiners and ruined a good troop but that's is complete conjecture. You would be making an assumption about someone's actions. All we know for sure is that SC addressed what they saw as a problem in the game. Maybe they saw the forums and freaked. Maybe (more likely) they saw the statistics of hogs success raids.
People who disagree about the loot problem and nexting issue deserve to express their opinions too. It actually helps paint a more accurate picture (though in this thread it seems there are a few nay-sayers, and double the amount of agreers). But no one should say someone's opinion is worthless. If the developer is smart, they will listen to the majority, because in the end, its the majority that play the game.
