Tom discount and balloon?

I got something, I am a level 70, it must not have been that exciting because I don't remember what came out of the balloon.

I popped one and got coins, not sure how much thoug.

I think it is random but after you hire tom and he expires, he will offer you a discount, he may or may not be holding a balloon in his hand at the time he offers a discount to rehire tom. Whether you rehire him or not he will eventually release the balloon into the air and once it's floating in the air, tap on it and you will get something. So even if you decide not to rehire him, he will eventually let go of the balloon and you can then pop it. I think the offer expires 1 hour.

Thanks for all your replies it seems then that you have to hire Tom for a day or whatever and then when his time runs out he turns up with a balloon offering a discount? Is that correct? It's the only time I've seen him with a balloon and I've personally never seen him let it go. He just tells me tap the box if I want to rehire him and then goes to sleep!! Maybe I need to tap the balloon while he's holding it?? Is that right or do you only tap it when he lets go?? I'm sure my friend said he let balloon go and I don't think they've ever paid to hire him but they've had balloons! :confused:

Yes, that is correct, you have to hire Tom for at least 24 hours.

Eventually he will let go of the balloon and it will be flying in the air before it disappears, so you have to keep an eye on it. You can only pop it when he lets it go. You don't necessarily have to rehire, you can just wait for him to just let it go because considering that Tom is lazy, I'm sure that at some point in time he will soon be tired from standing up and holding the balloon.

Not seen it yet, probably because I have In-App purchasing disabled to stop me doing impulse purchases, or being tempted by seemingly good offers that always know when I have a Shiraz ( or 2 ) to hand! :p

And don't forget that balloons now do a cool expolsion to the ground when they die! :cool:

I didn't hire Tom but popped the balloon when he let it go and got 50 xp

Popped one just now and got 5 diamonds.

Popped one got discount for Tom !!!!!!!
