So sick and tiered of supercell... Mass maxed hog with 4 maxed healing spells steals max recourses 100% of the time and I'm fed up with this ♥♥♥♥...
Giant bombs? Doesn't matter at all with heal and they are all back to full health. Spring traps? Try flinging 36+ hogs in the air.... 4 Concentrated maxed wizard towers with th9? No enough to counter 1 healing spell... Mortars? Please... Pure dps? Did I mention the freaking 4 healing spells and that there are 36+ of them??!!!
No wonder there are campaigns gathering votes and ♥♥♥♥ agains supercell only caring about the top 5% of they players...
They only care about the few small percent of players who spend thousands of dollars on this game....
Fix these broken hogs!
Obviously we're all still new to the update and how it's features will play out, but here are my first impressions. FWIW I'm about two-thirds of the way through maxxing TH8 and have 40 skulls.
I like
- Clan co-leaders: As the leader of a full clan and its feeder, this will (hopefully) help immensely.
- Two-hour boost time: So much more practical for the majority of players, who don't have the time to play for 4 hours straight. Honestly, I probably won't use it much (I play sporadically throughout the day), but my kids will love it for after-school play, and I can use it to get them to do chores faster. Bonus!
- Hero heal boost: Great! And thanks for making it 2 hours to match the other boost times.
- More gems for obstacles: Nothing but good news there! Thank you!
- Access to chat from more places: Nice feature. Again, thanks!
- Capacity displays: Minor tweak, but still good.
- Rage spell percentage: This makes me happy. Yes, I'm a nerd.
- No new town hall level: Thank you for that. "One louder" is not what the game needs.
Meh
- Iron fist: I only tried it once, but I wasn't that impressed. A few seconds of rage and two extra barbs? (My BK is lvl 5.) Maybe I'll like it better more with some practice. The icon in the troop inventory is cool, though!
- Level 6 minions: Irrelevant to me at this point, as I won't get them for a long time, although I imagine I'll hate them if/when I'm attacked with them.
- Level 5 freeze spell: Ditto.
- Valkyrie: Not sure this is enough to make me love her.
- Gem boxes: Well, they don't seem to be working atm, so I can't say much about them, but once they're up and running they'll move to the "I like" category.
I don't like
- Hog cost: I don't like this, but not for the reason you might think. The only time anyone 3-stars my base (or comes close), it's a TH9/10 player who sets down a stream of hogs, drops some spells, then, as far as I can tell, wanders off for a beer. There's no skill involved, no art, no strategy. Hogs are OP, and I don't think charging more to train them will help much.
- The loot/nexting: In the few days before this update, it seemed as if loot was finally improving, and now I'm back to the nexting grind. The solution seems simple to me: release more inactives into the search queue. Farmers would be happy, and loot would accumulate in storages, making those raids more exciting as well. This is something that could happen dynamically based on some metric of the amount of nexting or types of raids (collector vs. storage) going on at any one time, so there was never too much loot in the system but never too little, either.
- What you didn't do: Overall, I'm disappointed in this update because of what isn't in it. Quests, crusades, clan wars, new goblin camps ... nope. Your competition steals ideas from you; why can't you steal from them?!?
I hope this feedback is useful. I also trust that something cool is on the horizon, I just wish Planet Supercell revolved a bit faster!
This update was ok for me, and I don't see how people really can hate on it. If we rate it from bad-ok-good, I would give it a "OK" update. People set too high expectations for the update, and when it doesn't turn out to be good as YOU thought, you judge it right away saying it isn't any good. Stop putting in too high expectations to updates, and YOU will for once actually enjoy update that SC brings us. Movies can be very good but if you put high expectations for it, you won't enjoy it.
This is very serious.
I don't like how they've taken away 'Clan' from titles on the chat bar.
Clan Leader looked nice then Leader, same with Clan Elder and Elder, etc.
Why did they do that?

I have literally zero expectations for new material in updates. The only expectation I have is that existing flaws are corrected. Supercell has time and time again failed to meet my lack of expectation. The time bug is still there. The flawed loot and search system is still being "monitored". I liked the game just fine as it was when I first started playing in March. They don't need to add new material to keep me happy; they need to fix what is wrong.
Keep the faith. They have been doing good with fixing current issues in the game, and they will continue. It isn't that easy, SC goes through a lot, and when they say they are looking for possible solutions for the time bug, I believe they're doing so. Maybe they haven't yet found what causes the time bug? They tried to fix the loot system, and for me, it works GREAT now after the loot update.
I love this update it is very awesome! Everything about this update that actually effects me is awesome...I'm only a Th8 so minions don't matter to much to me since I can't get them in a while. I also love that you didn't add another TH because then I don't think I could ever get to the top Th. The only thing I would like soon is a report on the loot system because it seems to be odd amounts up and down all day.
And for everyone complaining about the update it proves that you have never made a video game because then you would know how hard it actually is to just constantly get new ideas.
The update is good but there's no possible way to justify 100K dark for level 6 minions.
Not when level 5 are 40k.
I understand level 6 archers because there is tonnes of elix in the game. But not dark.

SC gave us a new minion, new Hero abilities for both AQ and BK, nerfed hogs again, added a gem chest, obstacles now give MORE gems and the opinion of this update is that it's okay? That's funny.
I understand there's problems needed to be fixed like the time bug and the loot system but as for being a useless update I personally believe this way of thinking is totally off. This is one of SC's biggest updates in terms of content in a long time and players not being satisfied by its contents is ludicrous. If you think about it content-wise compared to previous updates it's amazing.
Let's focus on the update and not on what is still lacking for if you're not new here you'll understand there's dozens upon dozens of threads (lots of them closed due to repetitiveness of the topic) already discussing the issues that need to be worked on that have already been stated previously. They've already mentioned that Clan Wars is being worked on based off Chief Pat's interview with the SC employee and I'm sure it will be released when the time is right. Who wants a half-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ed Clan Wars with the end result being thread upon thread of complaints of about how Clan Wars is not up to par and was released with way too many bugs?
SC does harm themselves when they don't release statements every 2-3 weeks on what is being done about the TH 10 loot issues and the time bug. It would quell more minds and would allow forum members to discuss more about what is right with the game than what is wrong. Then we would have the luxury of ONLY talking about the update than other non-update issues.

Since the hogs cost more, can you buff them now? I miss getting attacked by hogs. (No sarcasm)
Whilst I don't agree that the updates are aimed at the top 5% of players I would agree that more needs to be done for lower levels - is it possible to let them upgrade troops / defences at lower levels? What about letting TH7 have a DE drill. Even out the game a bit more.
Many of the updates are good for me.....but increasing the hog costs :(
Increasing a dragons IQ by a few points would be helpful!
This just goes to show you that there will always be someone unhappy with your work and choosing not to like it, also some people just like to complain about everything. Sqarticusdanbob I'm not saying you are one of those people I'm just saying that there are those kinds of people
Increasing cost is another nerf to hogs. They've been nerfed 3 times already pretty soon they will be unusable. The point is to use troops when they're released, not for SC to release troops that people are never going to want to use, except for the poor Valkyrie. When people decide that they want to use hogs to attack they're doing it at the cost of dark elixir. Dark elixir that can be used to upgrade the Archer Queen or the Barbarian King. Dark elixir that can be used to upgrade dark elixir troops that are expensive on DE. If a player is willing to sacrifice DE on an expensive DE troop then that is their choice, all that means is that they're delaying upgrading their heroes and dark elixir troops. When it comes to the long upgrade times in CoC that's a pretty significant delay. They've listened to the community and nerfed the hogs again (unnecessary imo) and still it's not enough for some, maybe for more people as the feedback keeps coming in and that's a pity.
The "top 5%" as you stated, not sure where you got that number, are also players of this game and are equally affected by what SC decides to implement as the stats of spells, heroes, troops and defenses. If something is being overused and obviously is over powered then it's necessary to even the playing field for those on top. This game should focus on all types of players equally and no one should be given the cold shoulder just because they decided to use money on CoC. I'm sure if you were fortunate enough to have disposable income to gem your base you would like SC to help you out to make things a bit more fair for you.

I love the patch but am very very disapointed nothing has been done to fix inferno towers. This still make a weak base untouchable which should not be achieved via one L1 building
I actually think Sparticusdanbob has a point, while I havent noticed this, the user interface is an important aspect of the game experience. It could be something that was overlooked or changed for a reason.
The whole point of this thread is to make comments like this. If we don't give supercell feedback how can they make changes?
What I don't get is if you hate the game so much why don't you just quit the game instead of being a jerk about every little adjustment SC makes. If you don't like the game find one you do and quit this one and stop wasting our time.
Or learn how to make a game so you can control everything and find out how hard is it to actually make a game

The players in the lower level are only going to be there temporarily, if they wish to get new defenses, troops, etc the best thing is to upgrade their town hall. It's really that easy, there's nothing holding people back from pressing the upgrade key on the town hall. The higher the town hall the more upgrades players have to look forward to.

The SuperCell community was expecting a huge update. This was suppose to be a huge update. With SuperCell's normal 1 month schedule of new updates, they usually roll out some new cool features/content every update. This was over 2 months without a new update, and the community was really expecting something huge. The update was good, but this could have easily been done in 1 month.
Level 6 Minions- This was a fairly good additions. Some people farm with minions, some don't. The downfall is they maintain the same +4 DPS, and +6 HP. This sounds fairly good, but take a glance at the price. There is a massive jump from level 5 to level 6 minions. 60,000 dark elixir difference in the prices, for the same gains? That does not add up.
Gem Box- The Gem box was suppose to be a nice addition, because SuperCell "Cares" about us. It was extremely buggy, and didn't even work. Was SuperCell time crunching with this update? Did they even test the gem box? How can you roll out an update, and one of the better features does not even work? This shows that the SuperCell team was not on top of their game. How can you let a feature that tooks 2 months to roll out, and it does not even work? That is a huge disappointment, and shows that SuperCell does not thoroughly review updates.
Hero Abilities- This was a great feature SuperCell. You really hit the spot here. There is not really anything to complain about, as who wouldn't want an extra buff on their hero's. This has been requested before, and I love when SuperCell inserts ideas into the game from the Idea's and Feature Requests Section.
Nerfing the Rage spell- This really killed the update for a lot of farmers. I cannot believe that the SuperCell team could do this to the farmers. We are the core of the community. This is the spell we actually use!
"Make sure to use your spells! They can have a huge outcome on the battle"... now doesn't that sound familiar? Yes SuperCell, that is from your loading screen. For a lot of us farmers, now all the spells are useless.
Clan Improvements- These were great SuperCell. They were way, way, way, way overdue, but they are nice. It has been a feature we have been waiting for for too long, but now it is finally here.
Overall, this update did not please me. With the gem box buggy, the rage spell being nerfed, and level 6 minions astronomical price, this update was not very well thought out.

well yes, the stuff is pretty cool, but its not cool enough for the 3 week delay of the update. I can sense this game declining, it wasn't as great as it once was.

So I'm always hesitant to post on these official feedback threads, because 40% of the people are complaining that the update made things worse, 40% are chastising people for the opinions the have, which happen to be negative, and 10 people are standing around saying "why?"

I just can't understand, for the life of me, the reasons for nerfing the Rage spell, other than to make people have a real need and reason to upgrade it to Lvl6 when that time comes. But seriously, if you haven't read the reason it was nerfed, please have a go:
✔ Decreased Rage Spell level 5 damage bonus from 80% to 70%.
Why? We want all max level Spells to be viable options and currently the level 5 Rage Spell is used in almost every single battle by high trophy players - therefore is wasn't optional. By tweaking it to make it less of a mandatory choice, we're hoping to see more diversity in the Spells you bring to battle!

You're hoping to see more diversity in spells brought into battles, while we're hoping to see more loot available in game...? I am stunned, honestly, for the first time since I've started playing this game, at the logic here.
As a Farmer - and speaking for myself, not others - I use Barbarian, Archers and Minions quite often, to the point that is really isn't optional if I want to upgrade key components of my village... do I need to fear that these troops will lose their value, because so many people are using them and you want diversity?

i know a bunch of people dont like it but most of their suggestions are very hard to implement... i think it was not the best update but was worthwhile. We definitely need a game-changing update next though.
I couldn't agree with you more I notice the same thing every time I updated about 9:00am Central time and couldn't find loot the highest I found was maybe 100K if i was super lucky and by noon I am back to seeing around 200K. I think it is because once an update is released everyone is excited and gets on to see how the new update is and then collects resources so we have to give it a few hours to make more i guess.
Some of the chat type mechanics are nice, for instance being able to view chat, while in another village etc .. that is a very nice feature!
As far as content goes, a new lvl of minion - welcomed, if not a little over-priced, if i remember right double the cost of lvl5? Thats pretty dumb.
Hero "spells" or "abilities" ... hmmm looks like fancy animation ... not really spectacular. My BK is lvl15, and I've used his spell twice ... cool, i suppose, helpful, not really. My AQ is currently upping to 15, so no comment on that one yet, I think I can guess how it'll be ... meh.
Hog cost increased ... LOL, this unit has been the target of every content change for the past several ... If farm gold in crystal 3-2 running 20-25 hogs this will add 300ish de to the cost of my army. result, I'll still come out in the plus on de, and I boost my three drills anyways .... whatever. I am still going to smash loaded th9, and weak th10 that have infernos on single. This change is token at best, and just another attempt in a long line of tweaking to try and balance the troop .. gg sc.
Rage5 decreased ... hmm stumped on this one ... I feel like they wanted to make the list of changes longer. Everyone uses it no one complains about it ..... strange.
Co-leader : Nice addition, I think most changes made to clan structure and flexibility are prob, in the end, going to be good. Grats on this one.
What happened to our gc view? I used to invite clan less gc friends and now....will we get that back at some point?

I can tell you already. In the 12 hrs or so since the update I have already been hogged twice by TH 10s. One used 27 hogs and one used 24 so pretty sure this is yet another failed nerf on hogs (however both attacks failed to take the 3100 de I was offering so I guess I cant complain, at least I am being found by the dumb hoggers)
What are the exact hp boosts got? I know 20%. But i feel like i remmeber lvl 4 having 1200 hp already. What was the exact change?
i ask in question to wether or not the valks were actually boosted.
I don't have an issue with anything other than the nerf of Rage spell....I mean really? I just upgraded it to level 5 aswell and now it's not what it was before? And that reason for the nerf was so ignorant....

Seriously you think it makes sense for upgrading to level 5 minions at 40k and upgrading to level 6 minons is 100k. Every level was 10k more before that. By setting minions at 100k dark, they are just seeking gem purchases, that is why I said I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. Surprised that you think level 6 minons at 100k is logical, but oh well.
I wish supercell would stop asking for our opinions, since they seem to be doing pretty much what they please. This update was a single instead of a grand slam.
I think loot has gotten really a lot better, so great job on that ! Update wise, the king is now real cool, but it wasn't a big update. For how much we anticipated it, it wasn't too good. Level 6 minions costing 100k? What are they now better than level 5 hogs?

So for starters theres a graphics error when viewing the army camps, thin white strip over the army camps troop capacity and HP, nothing big, not complaining just stating the obvious if no ones said anything about it yet & as for the archer queen ability, every time you level her up 5 times does that increase her invisibility time by an extra second? saw a video of archer queen at the lvl 25 mark ( 5th tier of her ability) and she was cloaked for 6 seconds. Theres a lot of changes that happened but these are just two things i wanted to talk about if they weren't already discussed
* Hero abilities: Great addition. It creates a new dimension to attacking that increases the "skill ceiling".
* Gem box: Thank you. Yet to see it in action, but it's generous of you.
* Clan co-leadership: Glad to see you listen to the players. It was needed.
One thing that still bothers me is the 2nd maintenance break. I truly understand that you will never be able to test something so thoroughly that no problems can arise. However, I do not understand and do not accept that those of us who boosted barracks, spell factory and heroes shortly after the release will not be refunded the gems. Considering that the reduction of gem costs (20gems/4hours to 10gems/2hours) and the ability to boost heroes was part of the update, it's only fair to assume that players will try it out - but only to see the timer ticking away while unable to play? It's NOT okay. I would expect a refund and official apology from Supercell. It should not be something each individual player has to report through the in-game system.
weak, disappointing, nice try trying to get us to gem to th10 or in general, some updates were great, but once again....another to add to the toilet paper roll, obviously I still play so I like the game, just giving my opinion
queen and king could have been merged into one sneak peak and something strong could of finished off the sneak peaks.
Gem Box: also way to have FREE gems be the only real issue in the update. LoL, literally.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This update was a real let down and sadly its going cause many of my clanmates to quit. We were all hoping for some new troops, a solution to the 'next' problem, and addition loot available. Without any of these issues solved, I won't be long to follow.
I felt the troops got weak it too hard to play even I got all level 5 troops it felt like it lv3 lv4 I can't cleared out a hall 6 with with giants and angel with spells come on it too difficulty hope it get notice and adjective
On my screen there is no longer a friends list button that allows you to look at your game center friends and visit their villages, was this addressed already and purposely removed or a glitch resulting from the update??
Kendra promised unicrns. Supercell only added an update that applied to lower levle s and made a change to offer us more ems. worst update ever. SC blew it again. Where are my unicrns kendra.

Here's my 2 cents on the update.
For one thing, I like the content in the update. The hero abilities and the hero regen boost are my favorites. I do, however think for a 2 month wait there could be more content within the update...
What I would've liked is changing the contrast (the look of everything seems slightly darker), and since the update after the most recent halloween, there is a line on the wizard tower and in the stats for buildings.
Also, not a fan of moving the "Friend" button.
Game still lacking some sort of gold injection, no Nerf on lightning spells but you Nerf rage, no Nerf on disco inferno but you increase the cost of hogs, King and Queen new abilities are nice but where are the new troops? I have been playing for 8 months and not much has changed in that time you really need to add some new troops so we can have more variety on the ways we can attack.
Also agree with this, come on SC show us your customer service is a good one. As for the update I expected more the only things were everything in the sneak peeks so there was nothing that was really game chaging u pretty much gave it out as sneak peak with means there is something major coming out rather than the update details getting released in bits and pieces...the game still needs more gameplay methods. all you added is more ways to make money with the new minion level and people gemming heroes to lvl 5 to get the rage feature.
What is the reason for reducing the rage spell? it was fine how it was....
did they change the font? And something looks fishy:confused: with name elder. Also why did they move the gamecenter friend it looks harder to do...
Can anyone tell me the likely hood of this spawning? Also what are the gem ranges (example 10-50)
No one cares that the price of minions doubled from level 5 to 6? Lol!
Is there going to be anything added defense wise to counter the Hero rage mode? Everything that came out was either nerfing something few complained about or beefing up offense.

It was a big move for super cell to raise the prices for hogs..... Completely pointless and didnt help anything out.

100,000 de is insane for lvl 6 minions. Thats all I have to say on the matter.
My thoughts on the update
-More gems from obstacles/gem box-I absolutely love this due to the fact I don't spend money on the game
-Co-leader-Have been waiting for this for a long time thank you :)
-Interface-Love the ability to chat while watching replays or visiting and like the other tweaks but did not see the need to move friends or clan search.
-Hero abilities/Recovery boost-Fun new feature. I love it.
-Minions/freeze spell-Does not currently affect me as I'm still working on maxing TH8
-Barracks/Spell factory boost-I feel the changes were necessary due to the fact many people cant sit and raid for a full 4 hours to get the full effect. Also if something comes up and need to step away from game after you have boosted you aren't losing as much which is nice.
Balances
-Hogs-Was not excited to see increase in cost as I had just started upgrading them but I do think it was needed.
-Valkyrie-Nice increase in hp but I feel she still need some more changes to become a viable troop to use. Perhaps decreased training time.
-Pekka-Not sure hp increase was needed but don't see it being a noticeable difference. Could help get that last hit or 2 off.
-Rage spell-Wasn't excited to see damage boost go down especially since it already has a much longer build time than heal but 10% isn't a huge difference so I will live with it.
*Feature Requests*
I would love to see the ability to save different troop compositions in barracks so you can train your army with one simple click.

the update wasn't as good as a month could've made it. I was expecting something big like clanwars, you know, where the CLANS actually CLASH, but I wont question SC's care about 1 of its 3 games.
I'm having loads of fun with the King and Queen, especially since you can now boost recovery time! Glad this update gave me some new gadgets to play with to spice it up! I do wish Queens cloak was a little longer, but I guess I'll just have to upgrade her! Too little Dark Elixir, not enough time! Also there is a line going thru all my stat bars when viewing troops, and one thru my wiz tower if u zoom in.
I just don't know guys. It looked like you were doing everything right. Got the tap out of the middle and kicked it long to the forwards with the BK power, then you take a massive hanger with the AQ power. You know right about now your looking great. You line up the goals and your run up is good with more gems and a minion boost. But this is also where u drop the ball. The minions at 100k? The ball slips and you drop it wrong. Then the update comes and you kick that ball hard. And do you know where it goes? It's not even out on the FULL not point you have missed by so far you make the highlights for worst goal attempt of all time
as YOU DROPED THE BALL AND DIDNT EVEN GET CLOSE TO IT.
Now ow let's analysis where you went wrong. Firstly ball drop (minion price) was poor then you talk a big game and let everyone know how good your kick is gonna be( how we won't be disappointed by the update) and then you go and miss the ball (not brining in something big like masterminds quests or clan wars). It's just so disappointing
