I am having a blast with the new hero abilities! I hate I started my queen on another upgrade but am still rockin the BK rage! no complaints here
the abilities are cool (at level 10 my archer queen doesn't last long), but does anyone else think that the hero's seem to be weaker now? mine appears to loose health/die more quickly. :confused:
There's no question the new abilities add a lot to the game. The rage extended to other barbarians in the area is totally congruent with what you picture a Hero to be, i.e. Lifting the morale of combatants close to him.
I do have a nagging doubt though.
I played a similar but far less complex game to CoC (name witheld to protect the innocent) and, basically, the whole game hung on the rank and skills of your commander. You could throw all the artillery and everything else you had at a base BUT, if he had a much higher level commander than you, you would get obliterated. I'm hoping this won't be the case with a lvl 40 Barbarian and Archer queen. Clearly, there must be some reward for all that effort or cash but a "Win All" card could make the game untenable for anybody but the well heeled.
I do have enough faith, however, that a keen eye will be kept on game balance and, if it gets out of hand, nerf bats will be applied.
