Attn: neighbors and friends

I have been having some trouble with some of my neighbors. They are neighbors that don't have pictures and use the standard head. They change the name under the pic and I don't know who it is. This morning I had one in my shop that was entirely uncalled for. It was obscene and I do not appreciate it. I will be deleting the neighbors that do not have pictures.
I have a 7 year old grand daughter that sometimes play my farm and I do not want her to see anything like that.


PLEASE ALL MY GOOD NEIGHBORS. PUT I PICTURE ON YOUR ACCOUNT. THAT WAY I CAN JUST DELETE THE PROBLEMS.

You should report the obscene name on the farm. Hay day is a family game and they do take care of these things so that we all have a pleasant time on our farms.

You did the right thing by deleting/unfriended the person.. If it was me, they would be gone in an instant, no problem.. I'm all for a laugh and a joke, and I'm no prude, but we all have our own limits and tolerances. It's always the "faceless" ones for some reason.. I wonder why..

Like John, I would be deleting them immediately, as well. My granddaughter likes to play with me whenever she is here (or I am there and bring my iPad) and though she is only 5 and cannot yet read, I would still like to keep things appropriate, with farm names AND avatar pics.

Please always report offensive farm/RSS names and field pictures through the in-game help/feedback button. Take a screenshot of farm/RSS so it can be located by Support. Include the screenshot(s) in your report.

I took a picture. But they don't have an aviator and I don't know who it is. I wish we could get to someone's farm from our shop I tried once to put a pic in a thread and couldn't figure out how to do it

You could check your GC friends list through the GC app. If you can find this person. enter the profile and scroll to the bottom to Report a Problem. While the name in the list may not match what you see, if you enter the profile, you'll see the name they use in the game and any avatar they have.

So, if you're willing to go into the profiles of all GC friends with generic gingerbread men avatars, you should locate it.

I have looked for these people using the ginger men before and not been able to find them. That is why when this happened I came to the conclusion that I would delete all of them although I hate to do that. I don't think they all deserve to be deleted for what a few do

I hard to delete farms when they only have the generic face. If you click on the face through the game center it will give you the name of their farm so you dont have to delete every generic face farm.

I don't know how to put the pics on here but I have pics of someone who has been coming to my shop. He helped me for the first time so I could see what his level is and he is NOT ON my friend list. I think I have at least 2 more and I need to know how they are getting to my farm

it did put the picture but not the two showing my friend list for that level showing that he is not on my friend list

rhis is driving my crazy and has been for awhile now. If people can get to my farm and put what they want below their pics how do I control this

Did you help him? That's how most people find my farm. Well, besides following me after seeing my ad in the newspaper. Either I'm following them, so they can see me on their followers' list, or I help them after seeing their flag in the newspaper, and they can click my farm on their "last helpers" tab.

If you never help anyone, never advertise, and don't repair your boat dock (so they can't find you on the leaderboard), you won't get randoms coming to your farm. Though you probably won't get anyone else, either. :-/

No I have not helped him and I do not help from the paper because I have had so much trouble with people getting to my farm. And I do not have Facebook open. I don't know the password since I have not used it in about 3 years

I don't mean follow in the Facebook sense. I mean in Hay Day. You can follow other people's farms, and they can follow yours, even if you aren't friends/neighbors.

If you advertise in the paper, and people like your farm, they might follow it.

Is he on your followers' list?

They can also find you through the Leaderboard. I had someone buy at my shop recently and I didn't recognize them...hadn't advertised, I looked through my friends list because I have added quite a few new neighbors to see if it was of them...it wasn't and I finally found them on the global leaderboard next to me.

Yeah, that's why I said if you don't repair your boat dock. IME, people who find you through the leaderboard are near you in rank. Nothing you can do about that, unfortunately.

I have looked for them in the leader board and I have looked on my follower list. I donr have these people and I don't see how they get to my farm. I've been looking for a couple of them for months and then the name yesterday was the finial straw.

i can't let my grand daughter play any more and I was going to try and get her a device so she could have her own. That is out of the question now. I don't want to open my shop and see something like that but if she does----

if we can't control our friends and who is on the list we can't let these kids play. If dirty stuff is allowed and we can't keep them out

I know this may take some time, but could you click on all the "no avatar" friends, last helpers, and followers to see if you can find the offensive farm name that way? Once you find it (hopefully), take note under what tab you found them and what level they are...any and all info you may need to find them again in GC, if they are a friend, and then proceed to delete them.

How sad and frustrating that you were considering getting your granddaughter her own device so she could have her own farm, but not being able to get past the strong concern that she could run across something like this while playing. :(

Althrough that hat is a new problem I've had problems with a couple for months and I can't find them anyplace I'm wondering if they are coming from Facebook some way. I don't have Facebook on it asks me for my password and I don't have a clue what it is since I've not used it about 3 years

one of the people bought from my shop this morning and he helped me. The first time he is level 55 but I don't have him in my friend list. This is the first time one of them has left something where I could see what level they are or anything like that. If I have people in my shop that I don't know who they are or where they come from I will be worried about something like this happening again

Maybe Supercell could consider adjusting the RSS function so that we see the Gamecenter ID (or facebook name) instead of the farm name when people buy our stock.

I know the "raiding" topic is contentious, but if this were done then it wouldn't allow people to be anonymous, and it would stop them imposing their farm-name-of-the-day on other people's farms.

In your case, I understand that this issue is with gingerbread avatars. If they have a name under the avatar, you have a way of recognizing them from other gingerbreads.

If they are on your Friend's tab, delete them. You'll have to go into the player profile of each gingerbread avatar in your GC app friends list until you find the one with the matching name (The GC name they use in the game won't show until you enter their GC profile where you'll also see the avatar they choose to use in game as well as all iOS games they play.). Once you find the player, you can choose to delete them by scrolling to the bottom of their main GC profile page and tapping "unfriend".

If they are on your Follower's tab, delete them by tap/holding the avatar until the frame turns red. Then tap on gh + sign that appears on the red frame.

That's pretty much all you have the control to do.

If they are finding you through FB, you'll have to remove them as an FB friend through your FB account. However, I understand that they will still be able to see your farm as they will still have you in their FB account. I don't do FB so I can only pass on what others have said.

If you are on their last helper's list because you helped them while they were a friend or follower or through a DD ad, their is not much you can do except wait until you are pushed off their last helper's list.

If they are getting to you through the leader boards, there is nothing you can do as far as I know.

Now, from what I'm reading, you did find an offensive named gingerbread avatar in your Friend's tab whom you've since deleted. You are now asking about a player who just helped you (he has an avatar and name) and are wondering where he came from, with the concern that others (less amiable like the offensive one) may also find you.

It doesn't matter if a stranger finds you through the DD and helps you. Unless they follow you, they will not find you again except by remote chance through another DD ad that you place. You have the option of deleting friends and followers as per the instructions above.

Try something...it's a long shot but I'm curious. Tap Settings on your device --> tap Privacy --> tap Facebook. See if there is anything on the screen you see after tapping the FB setting subsection under the Privacy settings. Any applications that have requested access to your FB account should be listed there. Let us know if HD show up there.

You can also place a lock restriction on FB on your device to prevent FB from connecting to it.

Yeah, I know....I'm grasping at straws here.

EDIT: Think on this though. FB cannot connect to HD unless you process and confirm the connection between the two. You say you've not used that FB profile for 3 years. Well, HD didn't exist 3 years ago so the two cannot be connected.
