Barbarians lived up to their name

So i have to laugh as i give credit to the game creators. The name Barbarian has always been used to describe someone with little wit but great brute force. Needless to say I am highly impressed with the accruacy of the game creators when they created a such a soldier that if the only 3 things left in a village was a town hall, a builders hut, and a cannon outside the builder's hut, and you placed them next to the town hall with the intent to destroy, in true barbarian fashion they instantly run in the other direction of the intended target and right on through to the cannon protected builder's hut pretty much garanteeing their demise and your loss of said battle lol!

this has been my morning on 3 occassions! Oh well such is life I mean how are supposed to trust a grunt who dyes his mustache to match his helmet! lol

Lol yes the barbs are not the smartest off troops that's why troops have attack preferences.
Atleast your phone doesn't die at the start of a raid :s this is me, everyday.

well this has never happened to me, they always go for TH... when I put them closest to it.

I always thought they will attack what is nearest, and that's what mine seem to do.

Yellow is his hair, not helmet and blond hair at that, so natural that the mustache would fit the same color: "Upon reaching level 3 the Barbarian gains a leather headband"... and you would not put a headband around a helmet.

the helmets come at lvl 5 and 6: "At level 5, the Barbarian receives a Viking helmet and a bronze broadsword.
At level 6, the Barbarian wields a dark iron broadsword and sports a mighty horned helmet, complete with face-mask. All accoutrements (kilt, belt, wristbands and sandals) turn a darker shade of brown as well. He also wields his sword with one hand when stationary."

All units, including AQ and dragons, have the brain of a duck.

Spot on...

I actually think they're really good, just needs some practice with the AI

This whole thread is quite funny to me :). I've never had issues with barbs not going after the closest target to them, but I have witnessed archers, ESPECIALLY the Queen, destroy a building and continue to proceed to a building past the next closest building. I'm sure these issues with the AI will be fixed at some point.
