Hello all,
I’m new to Clash of Clans and am really enjoying it. I’m a casual player not interested in PvP, joining a clan or raiding, just want to play the game and am hoping you can help me out with no judgment. My village was attacked last night for the first time since I started. How do I know if it was another player or an AI goblin raid? I assume the latter but am not sure. -thanks a bunch-
It should be a player.
AI will not attack your village, only players do. I'll advise you to start raiding other players also, a lot of players are inactive and it will help you progress faster

Thats fun to do but in a couple weeks buildings start getting more expensive and without raiding it will take days/ weeks to get the resources without raiding. Also the goblins levels get harder and at a certain point you won't be able to complete them. Raiding is essential in this game..Quote:

I do know what you mean, but I don't even think about it as PvP. Sure it may be another players base, but they aren't online when you attack. So it is very much like you are raiding a computer base.

Do not diminish the power of the clan! Clanmates will help you with strategies, base designs, and most importantly providing troops for your clan castle. The clan castle is the single most powerful defensive piece in the game. And it can also mean the difference between winning and losing a battle!
Being in a clan gives you extra troops donated by your clan mates for attacking reinforcements or for defending.
There's gem prizes to win in a clan but that's only for the top 3 clans... and in those clans only the top 10 players get those gems...
but another advantage in being in a clan is your clan members cannot attack your base.
I heard they are implementing clan wars soon.....
Original poster, I would say that you should go ahead and brew a batch of troops, and press that button in the lower left that says attack! That is half the game there, and it will help you build your buildings way more than relying on your collectors.
I guess you make some good points :) Im new am about to be L5 TH and made a clan but can't get members? Im just trying to find people who want to help grow it and co-found it.. So far I'm not having any luck in the clan realm..Quote:

Just look at a list of clans and pick an active one (you can look at their clan members to see if they have high numbers in troop donation).
