CoC Designer, New version: v1.0
Hi all,
I've been working hard adding all the features you guys have recommended, and some others i've thought of.
Latest Version: http://www.filedropper.com/cocdesignerv10
NEW FEATURES:
- Defense Ranges now show while dragging a defensive building (ie, how far a cannon will fire, etc)
- Ability to show all defense ranges for all your buildings with the Defense Range button (can be quite messy, but may be of value)
- Multi-selection ability using ctrl-click
- Multi-selection using new Selection Tool to draw around controls you want to select
- Ability to drag all selected buildings (note, quite slow and jerky when moving 50+ buildings at once)
- Ctrl-A now "selects all" (beware the slow moving when lots of things are selected as mentioned above)
- DEL key now deletes the selected buildings
- Ctrl + Up/Down/Left/Right, moves the selected buildings 1 square accordingly
- Ability to draw walls using new Wall Tool (very cool!)
- Images shown are now based on your Town Hall Level by default, but can be over-ridden (right mouse click) to a lower level image if you desire
- Ability to place an image of your design on to the clipboard, for pasting in to other applications
- Ability to Print your design (note, the image is being scaled down to 75%, so it fits on an A4. This can cause some loss of quality. If this is an issue, I could add ability for you to specify scale size?
- Ability to rotate your design
- More example base designs
- Added ability to change the size of the designer window, and have scroll bars appear, so people running less than the required 1037x873 resolution can still use it (hopefully? let me know).
- When dragging over the top of another building, visual feedback is now provided that there is a problem, by showing a big "X" on the building.
- Added ability for passing a filename as a parameter when loading CoC Designer. This means you can associate CoC Designer with .coc files, and when double-clicking the .coc file, it will launch CoC Designer, and load that file
- Several bug fixes
Example screen shots
Building pictures change based on town hall size, and shows how many buildings you've used, based on your town hall level.

DRAW WALLS! Very cool... (click top left, drag down bottom right, and bingo you have a rectangle... (or just a line if you want))

Still to be added:
- An UnDo history feature (ctrl-z & ctrl-y etc).
- Improve performance. Its a bit jerky now with all the repainting it does of hundreds of objects. Unfortunately I think this might require substantial development to move it to a fully graphics based app.
Please let me know of any bugs or new features you would like.
Thanks, enjoy, and happy clashing... :)
Aaron.
