[TH8] [farming] Which base to use?

Hey community,

I've been very undecided on the question of which village setup I should use as a farming TH8.

I thought about using the Tesla Theme Park:

A modified version of someone's base I saw while raiding:

And there is also this album of a few bases I found somewhere:

All of these bases look great, but I don't have the patience and time to try them out one after another. Mostly because of the time it takes to rebuild a village and secondly because the defensive samples I'll receive will be influenced by which defensive buildings are being upgraded at the moment.
So I thought maybe you guys could help me out. Many of you have been / are currently farming at TH8 and I hope you could share your experiences with me. I'm sure there are more farming designs out there I don't know of yet. If so, feel free to tell me :D

Tesla Theme Park is one of the best bases out there, so that would be my suggestion (thanks Pingfao :)).

People in my clan seem to like tesla theme park. I can't speak for myself, however, as I only started farming at TH9

Junliangs Pokeball

I used TTP for a bit, but in all honesty, it was cracked. I can 3 star with a good giant healer comp. I've now moved on to the pokeball, and it's amazing. Try it out!

Which pokéball base are you referring to? I've seen many ball shaped bases, including the one in the link I provided. I've even used one at TH7.

Again, my sample sizes are very limited (my TH has mostly been sniped). What makes you choose the pokéball over the TTP? I'm asking, because a majority of players seem to be using it.
(To be honest though, the pokéball and TTP look very weird to me, I don't know why)

I've used Daddy's design since it came out and it works out well, going to TH 9 in 5 days.

Which one are you referring to? He seems to have created a few different bases.

I've been using Junliangs Battleship the last little while. And I have to say it chews up and spits out most armies. You can find it in the second post of this thread. http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...-Farming-Bases

Too many players have used the Tesla Theme Park these days. Most attackers are used to seeing it and can break it down pretty easily.

TH8 farming design. there is only 1 for TH 8.

I used to use the tesla theme park but i found a better base. And im using it right now.

go check it out its really really really good.

Clan is devil boarderz
username is Dra03
and im like lvl 79 in gold 3.

i reconmend you to hurry because im planning to upgrade my town hall to 9 and change my base...

TTP and the others are great but there now popular and people know the flaws and th9 with lvl 6 will get good amount of $$ so i wouldnt recommed using it. It use to be good but it is bad. I used it and people kept getting 200k plus gold

The second one, it's too easy to get into the middle (not clan castle). Only requires 4 wbs, 2 to break into the archer towers, and 2 to get into the core. Also, tesla theme park is too overused. Everyone uses it, and a lot of people know its weakness (if it has one).

Oh yeah, it indeed looks very nice! Is it intented to be a transformer base? It looks like one.
Also, where are your Tesla towers or traps located? There are a few possible locations I could make out, but not all (talking about giant bombs).

Ttp is overused so dont use it as many people know how to break it meaning they will3 star u everytime with really weak armies pokeball is becoming overused so refrain from it and there are some great base designs in the th8 base design thread in tactics strategies and questions and you will find the base your looking for

Since my base is new since yesterday I can't giver much statistics yet but of the 5 defences so far they only got 2 out of 15 stars. I think that's decent. The idea is to have CC/Hero very central and hard to lure.
