Co-Leader/Elder best practice

Well, it was my view for starters.

Your the leader because your dedicated and can manage a clan. if your unable to run or your busy/holiday then you can rely on your 1-2 co-leaders to manage the clan.

I don't see the need for 3-4. if the 1-2 can't manage while your away then you need a different co-leader.

There is no problem with having 3-4.

But would of been better if SC limited it

No. It would not be. Supercell wants to allow clans to decide how to govern themselves. What if they had limited it? People would be in uproar over whether it was too many, too few, "you idiots", I didn't want co leaders, etc. They have given the tools, each clan can now decide how to be run.

I personally think:
1-2 co-leaders
5-7 elders

would work the best for a healthy and stable clan.

As for how to decide, I think it's a combination of trust, activity level, leadership and knowledge of the game, probably someone who has been a kick-♥♥♥ elder for a long time. :)

I have discussed with alot of my clans members & Yea Baby family will have 1 to 2 co- leaders for each clan. The main clan will have the founding members as co-leaders. Not sure how this will play out but I hope this is not an elder pre cool down situation.

Well, In my experience of gaming over the years, you don't need 5 co-leaders to run a clan.

I'm limiting co-leaders to 5, I don't know why, but that's how I feel.

Simple solution, members who ask for leadership positions (any position) don't get it, by clan policy if needed. I have never seen anyone ask for elder in my clan.

I think it depends a lot on the clan how many co-leaders there would be. Obviously it would go to those who would be given the current leadership position as needed. For some that might be 1 or even none, and for other long term clans with a solid core of leadership it might mean a lot more.

The co-leader should only be given to someone who you can strangle in real life. Unlike elders who can make others elders as a stopgap measure, co-leaders cannot make elders co-leaders. Choose your co-leaders with the utmost care and as few as possible or you can be left with 5 members in your clan..

We already share the clan between the most loyal and active elders, 6 of us in total. we have 14 elders. So i guess we will have 9 elders 5 co leaders 1 leader after the update.

I like the new system because people who beg to be elder can get promoted to that position. As for co-leader, I would only choose people I really trust, and no strangers.
