I don't care!

I don't care if you raid my shop! I don't care what u buy and why. Shop away! Buy everything you see or desire. The only thing I ask is if u see in the last bin 1 wheat, like 10 of something at really low prices or 1 coin, don't take it! There is a trade going on. This is only a friendly reminder. Some of you are new, and don't know about trading or neighbor rules. Not a hayday rule. Just a friendly handshake between farmers. I will never delete you for shopping my store. Only if you know I am in a trade, and you take it anyway. I have accidentally before taken a trade with a slip of the finger. If that happens just post on here and let us know. Love you all, at least most of you lol

I agree with what you are saying appleannie, but your message will only be read by about 1% of hay day players as 99% dont read posts on the forum! unfortunately most on the game will not understand that many forum members do trades and the mechanics of the game allows players to take what they want from the RSS. It's a risk we all face.

If its up for sale providing its not in the last four slots feel free to buy the lot

Although I do agree with MisterTez , there will be a big percentage of people who don't use/ read this forum, although reading between the lines on Annie's post maybe this certain person does :cool:

John, what I am trying to say is buy as much as you want When you want, but if a trade is going on please be mindfull. That's why I tried to explain the trade system.

There is no "trade system" to non forum members and 99% of players... I/we know what you meant, lol. Traders are always at risk of items being snatched. It's always going to be a risky business.

Yea I know this, just hoping if we post about this every so often the newbies will get updated

Annie, I agree. I know I sometimes grab something, near the end and then wonder if my itchy finger nabbed a trade. I would hope that my neighbors would contact me also and I'd replace the goods and then some. My problem is that I never look at the amount anymore, my eyes fixate on the shiny stuff, and I act, sometimes too fast.

I know I lost some axes tonight while trying to pass them to another of our family farms. Someone got half of my dwindling stock at default, but the fault was mine. I got the dreaded full barn alert. I wish there was a dedicated trade function but alas, there is none.

So if anyone has a trade of goods stolen, come see me. I might have enough to help out. ( not bolts right now though ;-))

Hmm, that sounds a bit like a red rag to a bull to me! I agree with John that probably 99% of players overall have no idea about trading, but a lot of us have a high percentage of friends who we've acquired through the forum and know exactly what's going on, so if some are being sneaky then you're just highlighting the trade. It's like putting a sign outside your house saying "no burglars please - we're on holiday." ;)

If its in your shop, its for sale. Period. If you were intending it for a specific person, you have to get it done efficiently, lest someone drop by and unknowingly intercept it.

If you want to add rules that the game does not support, the proper way to address this is by contacting all your friends by PM and mutually agreeing to the rules. You cannot expect random other players to be bound by your gentlemen's agreement, and you should not be attempting to intimidate (even if you call it "informing") new players into playing by your rules.

As stated:

Overwhelmingly not likely that whoever interrupted your trade will see this.

Having a trade go wrong is a known risk before a trade is ever entered into and so cannot be complained about if it happens.

Starting a new thread to inform or get the word out to newbies about the member-created rules of trading, however gently, can be viewed as attempting to impose them.
