could the new rank pls not be called "co-leader"

Hey there I'm back! and i decided i wanted to ask a question and hear your opinions about it.

Does the new co-leader rank have to be called "co-leader"? Because that name kinda signals that they are equal to the leader which they are not (in terms of options as they can't demote each other or promote others to co-leader), also it disturbs the hierarchy of the clan exactly because it signals that they are equal to the clan leader, i don't make use of a clear hierarchy in my clan because i don't like to have anyone believe they are worth less than others but i still want to have it clear that i am the one in charge. I really like this new rank and i especially love how the elders get less power, and i want to use this new rank but i would still be really happy if the name could be changed either before the update is out or in another update. The rank could be called a lot of things as an example would "general" or "clan secretary" be fine names (IMO).

I just think you should be gratefull that SC actually listens to the community, it is a fine update and name. It states for what it is.

Definitely! I agree. This position sounds as if the 'co-leader' has the same power and position as the leader. It sounds like both of them are leading the clan. Does anyone know if this is official in the next update?

It is official. I really don't think it matters what it is written as. It matters what they have the ability to do.

Before more complaining happens, I'd like to point this out:

You guys asked for co- leader. Almost every thread I saw on this subject had 'There will be a new rank called co- leader.'

I might ask, if you guys supported it when it WASN'T in the game, why are you asking for changes to it now that it IS going to be?

If supercell did everything that you guys asked for, someone would still complain. If you supported the idea of co- leader, don't make complaints about it now. Be happy and grateful that supercell listened to you and put it into the game.

yeah i guess but as i said it could also be changed in a later update, (or maybe since its just a name that would be changed a maintenance)

I just want to point out that the name is actually pretty accurate. Coleaders can do EVERYTHING a leader can except kick/demote/promote the leader. The difference is actually quite minor.

Co-leader fits nicely

I call mine underlings, but in a clan with four subclans, leaders are actually commanders, and 'co-leaders' underlings. This is a great asset to the people who run my clans. I am grateful to them for their efforts, and to supercell for listening to is and creating this position with greater power in our clans. Thanx guys! @Clashaholics

I like co-leader. The co-leader may not have the same powers, but in terms of status he is really the leader when you aren't on. If you are too greedy for power to be willing to share it, don't assign a co-leader. Otherwise, deal with it.

it has nothing to do with being greedy, it has something to do with the signals that the name "co-leader" sends out, because i am the leader when im on or off, the co-leaders may have more powers than normal members but i do not think of them as having any significantly higher status than ordinary members, its just those i think can handle such a responsebility. if i want another leader then it should be an actual co-lead i other words one i share the leader possition with. i dont want "co-leaders" that i have no intention on letting lead my clan. i do still want to use the rank though because i belive its a great adition to the game but i belive the name is wrong.
