Restricting elder's ability to promote members.

So the other day an angry clan Elder decided to promote all members and invite new members and promote them as well so they could not be kicked by anyone other than the leader. Because Elder is earned in my clan his was extremely frustrating to watch and the elders online could do nothing about it because our leader was offline.

Here is the idea: add a cool down time for Elders promoting people similar to the kick out cool down time.

I agree, a good idea is to add a feature to the clan leader like put a "limit" to each elder for promote other members and invite people from global, like a cooldown of 6 hours. ..

Then what can an elder do small clans need to be more reponsible with who they make elder

+1 if you can't trust an elder then you shouldn't have made them elder in the first place.

An Elder can still promote and do all they usually can, the promotion would have a cool down time meaning after an elder promotes he would have to wait 30mins before promoting again. This prevents abuse of power.

Perhaps leader has an option for elders to promote or not?

I think that their should be a Co-Leader feature where there can be 2 Co leaders making it 1 Leader/2Co leaders. The Leaders should be the only ones allowed to promote and demote. Elders can still have the power the kick people. Obviously Co leader is requested a lot but i think it should be in place is because people mess up, people trick others into "inviting a friend" and elders promote them, they start kicking, although there is a cooldown, they could kick a top player, and they might not come back because they are angry about being kicked (has happened a clan i ran last year). Elders can misclick too, make someone elder, and leader may not be on and they start messing with rules, kicking, i think it would make clans more secure to give 3 people to power to give elder, and also the leader should be able to control cooldown time for elders to kick.

They are probably going to do an update on the clan systems in a little while.
