Honestly, I don't see any way to implement Clan Wars without it being broken. People can just cross over to the other clan and exploit. We already have clan ranking so... I just don't find it too exciting to be worthwhile.
How will you make Clan Wars work, keep in mind the possibility of exploit and interest??
That's the thing. Majority of the people begging for clan wars have Zero clue as to how it would even work. I'm sure if they were asked they wouldn't have a clue...
They just blurt out "give us clan wars" and just expect SC to do the rest!
I wouldn't implement them, I would just update my app

Am i the only one who does not care at all about clan wars? seems like a stupid addition. No one has even thought of a solid way to implement it.
Just because some of you guys are not smart enough to think of a way to implement it, doesn't mean SC with a bunch experienced game designers can't.
Yes well done that is advertising and stupid as far as clan wars go I think super cell have made and extraordinary game and have an amazing community so all we have to do is trust them when them make a mistake (New loot system) why not instead of making 500,000 threads about why it rubbish make ONE poll where everyone can vote then things are both organised and easy!Quote:

I love threads like these, pointing out the flaws in clan wars. Would hopping be an issue? Simply register the two clans under some system and the playera cannot join either sides during the time of war. There are so many things that can go wrong, but can be fixed so easily. I honestly have such high hopes that they are almost bound to fail my expectations unleas if they do not overlook anything.Quote:

I was thinking that a "shared revenge queue" might be a way to ease into this without drastically changing the existing game mechanics. Here's an example:
- Player A attacks Player B. Player B is in a clan called "Tough Guys".
- Like usual, Player B sees the attack in their defense log, and has opportunity to revenge Player A, if Player B so chooses.
- In addition to this, the top 15 players (based on trophies) in the clan "Tough Guys" have the attack on their clanmate, Player B, loaded to their "shared revenge queue" (imagine a new tab in the Battle Log menu). Each one of those 15 guys now has a free (un-revengeable) shot at Player A.
- It would increase the benefit of being a member in good standing of a powerful clan, and make potential attackers think twice before attacking a famous clan with lots of high powered members (more of a big deal in champion leagues than silver I, of course).
- It could also make revenge more of a practical option by giving those top players more revenge candidates, increasing the chances of finding at least one of them off-line and available for attack. You would also think these revenge candidates are better quality in terms of loot than the average village in your trophy range, since these villages are actively attacking to accumulate loot in their storages.
My thoughts are that once an item is placed in your "shared revenge" queue, it would stay with you even if you change clans or drop out of the top 15 players for that clan. I suggest limiting the shared revenge to a max of 15 players to keep the multiplication of revenge attacks to a more manageable level. Maybe 15 is too much, or maybe it's too many.
Anyway, just an idea. Feel free to praise it or tear it to pieces. :-)
