Is it possible that the growth rate of my trees and obstacles are bugged?

I play since september 2012 non stop and i have only 670 obstacles removed. I see some people with over 800 obstacles removed and i think the difference is just too big.

Sometimes i spend 12 hours without playing and when i come back theres no tree or anything, and i have room for them to grow and i have much less than 40 obstacles in my village, i have maybe around 15-20

I have noticed this too. sometimes obstacles just don't spawn in their 8 hour time period.

more light on this will be much appreciated.

that's less than 3 spawnings per day. maybe they spawn more if we play less? *confused*

There not spawning because of maybe the sneak peeks about gem box? not sure lol

I think the biggest factor is how much of your base is occupied. If a new obstacle is trying to spawn on an already occupied space, you'll have to wait eight hours for another. Larger bases and bases with many existing obstacles, like mine, will seem to have a much reduced spawn rate.

Im lucky to have a new spawn every few days.

Yeah I noticed this too, although I don't clear my pine trees if they're along the edge of the map. Tryin to grow a nice forest lol

Same here, but i heard they spawn every 8 hours if you have free room and less than 40 obstacles.. Can any mod or dev clarify this please? I didnt care much about it but now that theres that gem chest and trees will give more gems i want to know if im not at a disadvantage here

Mine is 285 and my friend who start play same as me have 467. I think that is a big gap :rolleyes: , i don't know why

Yes, there is a 'chance' of a spawn every eight hours and 40 is the maximum you can have at one time.

If a 2x2 pine is trying to spawn but one corner of that 2x2 is spawning in a space occupied by something else, that spawn will not happen and you'll have to wait for another eight hours. This is my theory anyhow.

it's been 41 days for me. 40 ( or 50? ) at the start. ( started removing from day 1 )

131 obstacles removed. ( 4 on map still inclusing xmas tree ).

135 - 40 is 95 and going by 3 spawns per day. 41 x 3 = 123

123 - 95 = 28 obstacles less.

figure it out.
