How many gems does a gem box hold?

I have gotten 3 gem boxes so far...each containing 25 gems has anyone gotten more from a single box?

I got 2 boxes so far and both contained 25 gems.

I've gotten 4 that's given 25 each. Although I have heard from a friend that it does give 50? Would anyone like to confirm if this is true?

If you're going to be so condescending and know-it-all, it would really be beneficial to you to do it about something that can only be speculated about, and preferrably not a forum full of people who all play the game and therefore can eventually run into the hard facts to completely unhinge your snotty, two-paragraph stint. My question is one of my clan members swears he found 2000 gems in one. THAT I find strange, although maybe gem boxes come in varying size amounts. Does anyone know if they do? Or is he just pulling our legs?
