the troop powerup idea!

alright, when you go to the coc store, there would be a new tab

when you tap the tab , you can select wich troop should be powered up

the powerups lasts 1week, they cost elixir, only 1 can be available at a time, and they have a purchase cooldown of 3-4 days

now some stats:

barbarian	flaming swords	swords glows red	+20% dps, + 10% speed
archer	longbows	arch now wields x-bow	20% longer range, +10% dps
goblin	silver hands	goblins hands becom silver	dmg to res. now 3X , + 10% health
giant	shrink	giant slightly smaller,wears helmet	housing space now 4, speed +15%
wallbreaker	double trouble	wb now has 2 bombs	dmg to wall now 55%, health +5 %
balloon	pumped up	balloon slightly bigger	10% more splash damage and health
wizard	magic health	wizard cap becomes light-blue	30% more health
healer	vampiric	healer's aura now red	healer regenerates 2% of health for every heal
dragon	air mastery	bigger wings, gets spikes	+20% speed, + 10% health
PEKKA	spark-proof	has some leather armor-plates	no more 2X dmg by teslas
minion	fear the dark	minion gets black	20% more dps
hogrider	hog-master	hog gets armor	20% more health
valkyrie	boomerang-axe	valkyries axe becomes purple (lv 7 walls)	splash damage range now 5 tiles, +10% dps
golem	rock-solid	golem gets black	now 3 golemites respawn
witch	the underworld	witch has black aura	witch also summons archer skeletons
barb king	hail the king	armor changes purple (lv 7 walls)	+20% health and speed
arch queen	troop terminator	x-bow becomes bigger	now does 2X to troops, +15% health

I'm a tough critic on other people's ideas for changes. I tend to think they are lame and/or unbalanced ideas, but then again that's why they aren't the ones making and evolving the game, right? I was surprised when reading your idea to find that this feature seems not only reasonable, but fair! You put thought into it, and I like the idea of a limitation for only one of these "perks" at a time, along side with a cooldown. Of course, if this feature became reality, I'm sure the devs would tweek some things, but overall I think this feature rocks :cool:, and I'm not even a gem buyer/spender.

But isn't this the whole idea of the upgrades on troops. I wouldnt upgrade my archers to lvl 5 cause i would just buy gems to give them 'powerups'.... BUTTTT its a nice idea ;)

This would be extremely unfair for everyone that doesn't gem. Genera already have a advantage because they can gem their base. Let's not give them more advantages.

The only way this could work is if you got boosts by spending elixir or dark elixir or gold.

I also believe this idea has been ruled out.

nice idea but might be op. actually definitely op. the great part of clash is that you can still become good without spending money. I haven't gemmed in a long time and I've only spent $20 on the game. I don't plan or want to spend anymore. Might get too hard for nongemmers to play clash

Each thing cost a certain amount of elixer. A barb might cost 1 mil but pekkas 5 mil

I agree with you I didn't spend anything on the game and I'm not going to anytime soon perhaps I even leave the game if that happened .

The issue with this is it opens up a new element of the game only availible to those who want to spend gems, thus alienating the casual "cheap" player. I think purchasing visual changed could be cool but to power up an individual troop with gems, that's just way OP.

I like the idea but I dont feel like spending gems so if it were elixer I would enjoy this.

i've decided to change the price from gems to elixir, that would make it more fair, (and another use for elixir ;))

In his description it says they're bought with Elixir, not sure this is a change he has added or was there originally but never the less this would give this advantage to all players. It's a good idea I think but maybe a bit overpowered

first it was with gems, but that was kinda unfair

i did changed it to elixir now

Honestly, I think this is an excellent idea.

I have never seen an idea like this, so it is very unique :D. Not overpowered at all as I can see as it has a cool down, if it had prices I suppose the prices should be fairly high. You thought this through with using elixir (elixir does not hav emany uses) and the cool down (Nice touch!) so people couldn't have it all the time.

People may not want to spend 100 dollars on gems but for the people who even spend 5 dollars should get rewards for supporting supercell

The only reason it would be good is to attack but really strong troops that are almost overkilling high villages wil overkill everything now and then high bases wouldnt make any scense because they will be getting 100 procent

that's why they have a cooldown and that only can be used at a time

btw i'm belgian/dutch to :)

read the new sneak peek; the barbarian king have a rage and no need of other troops for a while, soon archer queen will have it too, so the basic troops will be raged, other troops raged too OP

1 they do not all get raged (speed/dps boost) some of them get higher hitpoints, decreased housing space, bigger splash damage, more range, etc...

2 this thread was created BEFORE the sneak peak so...
