3. Max troops
4. Upgrade splash buildings

Anyway I kinda did the same as you but I stopped rushing at TH8. I'm working on my walls now 50% of walls are gold and 50% are black. Im planning on maxing splash defense and walls before upgrading to th9. Currently, I'm researching for lvl 5 archers.
So what do you think? I really hope I can progress the same way you did.
I can say now that any player can rush their townhall and it's not stupid at all. I think I'll call it "Responsible Rushing".

none of walls maxed / def maxed is required if you know how the game works.... I knew few players that just have barbs/arch maxed and rush to th9 and still doing fine.
