nice... that's an amazing progress in very short time
yes... lab, cc, sf should be the first priority to upgrade.

but there is no sf upgrade on th8.

don't forget the drills... lv.3 will generate 1K/day which very good for early th8.

I read your 3 rules for upgrading to Th9. I feel ready to upgrade. I just want to know If I should focus on my walls before I go up. I currently have 2 skull and the rest purple. I have one Wizard tower left to upgrade before my splash is maxed. All my farming troops are maxed. I really do want that Archer queen. Thank you for your help. ^_^

I have been following this thread for a long time , i didnt need to post till now bcz it had all d answers to my question till i reached TH 7 , now here is my problem

i kinda rushed to TH7 . I got all lvl 7 walls in 5 days of stepping into TH7, now i'm always full with gold and elixir and dont have anything to spend on. here is my building lvls

Splash

Mortars- all lvl 4
WT - all lvl 3
GBs - All lvl 2
Small bombs - All lvl 4

Point Defense

ATs- 1 lvl 6 and rest lvl 5
Cannons- all lvl 6
Ads- All lvl 2

Barb King - lvl 1

Troops and Spells

Farming troops and Camps are maxed for TH 7 but But barracks are Lvl 8,8,5,5

Lightning and Heal - lvl 4
Rage - lvl 1

I know i gotta upgrade ADs and and splash def more but i just wanted to know how much is minimum requirements to go to TH 8?? What should be my upgrade order to go to th 8 asap??
I want to finish my walls asap bcz i wont get time when my college starts next month ..

Thanks so much!!! It inspired me so I made a new account with lvl 1 all defenses and maxed troops to town hall 9.. Haha it took me a while the get adjusted but I did.. I have all lvl 9 walls and maxed defense!! lol its funny looking at these ppl maxing their base for 4 months xD my gold grab is already 898 million and ya I wanna know what clan ur in so I can see ur th10 base

nope... farming wall will be easier on TH9 if you already have maxed camps and lv.6 troops...
as long as you have enough elixir to get that lv.6 troops asap, you'll be fine (lv.6 troops costs about 6 million)

we have exactly same condition on TH7.
go to TH8... there is no point sitting with full gold and elixir all day just wait an rolled by decent th8.

I'm in doubt now nonetheless, at Town Hall level 9. I think my goal is to max my heroes before my defenses are maxed out, getting lego's and some lavas along the way...

What do you think? Does TH10 hold enough advantages (25 troops, level 6 minions) for me to go somewhat earlier than that??

the reason I moved to TH10 early is because I want to focus more on DE.
yes, 25 troops, 1 extra spells and Lv.6 minions makes difference.

but when you still want to farm walls, you must stick to TH9 because gold is easier...
Th10 loot is not bad, but not as much as TH9

Barch : I Barch from the beginning until end of TH8
BAM : I use BAM when I'm in the end of TH8 farming DE for AQ and early TH9
GBarch : I use mostly on TH9
Loonions : I use loon from end of TH9 and TH10

Actually GBarch stands for giants and barch, not gobs. If I remember correctly, Yaw said that he used 1 barracks giants, 1 barrack barbs, 1 barrack archers and 1 barrack wbs + archers

Hey Yaw, a question for you: I have about 50 lvl 9 walls, and all defenses maxed (except for the archer towers, but I'd rather get 30 more walls than pay 5 mil per archer tower now)... and all builders idle, except for 1-2 who sometimes do heroes. All troops are maxed (except valks who are just lvl2, but I cannot justify upgrading them further). I would like to go to TH10 for infernos (for DE protection) and more important for freeze (in clan wars I get paired with mostly TH10s with infernos, and it's really difficult to get more than 1 star without freeze).

What would you advise? Stay on TH9 a bit longer for walls (I do mostly 2-3 walls per day now, the schedule is a bit busy), or go to TH10 and worry about walls later? (I know gold is harder to come by at TH10, but it's becoming boring doing nothing but walls)
