When I was trying to get 40,000 Dark Elixir for Archer Queen, I stayed online for a long period of time looking for Town halls outside while lightning their Dark Storages. This helped me gain more trophies and Dark elixir at the same time. I stayed at Gold 1 until I got 40k DE. Also try to look for inactive bases or any base with filled Dark Elixir Drill too.Quote:

There is nothing you can do againts this as a TH8, but don't worry as this problems will be resolved when you're TH9. There is numbers of Anti-Hogs bases that you can use.
But it's very good if you can survive there as TH8 by making more profit than your loss... You will have a very easy road as a TH9 later.
Now I think about clan war a bit. My troop which is maxed are only barbarian, archer, wallbreaker, giant, balloon. Gobs, wizard only lvl 4. Minion lvl 3. Healer and dragon lvl2. And as th 9 I will have to attack th 9 or decent th 8. So in early th 9, what should i use for clan war??
I just got th9 and I'm very excited about all the new things. I'm in gold 1 right now, but I am not getting many good raids. Is today just a bad day or do I need to find somewhere else to farm? Also, I am very comfortable and able to efficiently farm with BARCH, but I need your advice on whether I should switch to Gbarch and upgrade my giants to level 6 or keep barching and upgrade barbs to 6 first. I see many th9s using both strategies.
you been through th9 now, what would be the ideal th9 troop upgrade order. my lab finishes upgrading tomorrow and i have maxed th8 barb, archer, giant, goblin, wallbreaker, minion, lightning. also i realize rage is very good for farming but i only have level 1 rage, should i upgrade that first instead. level 1 to 4 rage will take 10 days like the rest of th9 lab.

I just have lv.3 wizard, lv.1 heal, lv.3 rage before CW because spells is not urgent for farming, but you need them for CW.
