oh I know I was just looking for his input on my barracks before upgrading from someone that has had a ton of success offensively.

Well, it is nice to have all level 9 barracks, if you like to use dragons as your overnight or CW army. I don't use Pekkas much at all, so I still only have one barrack at lvl 10 (TH9). If you don't care about dragons though....yeah it doesn't really matter. The other elixir upgrades at TH9 are so worth it.

I hope you dont mind getting all these requests for advice, ive seen them on here alot.
Anyways, Im TH7 I have just been upgrading my point defenses, i have all archers at 7 and 3/5 cannons at 8
Mortars there are 2 lvl 4 and 1 lvl 5
Wizards are lvl 3 and 4
Barracks are about maxed
Camps maxed
Walls: 61/175 Dark Crystal
The only thing im behind on is troop levels, i have a hard time farming elixir, and getting my lab working is tough, so far I only have lvl 4 Gobz and lvl 3 everything else...
I plan on moving on after I max Dark Crystal Walls
Would that be a good idea? Would i even be considered premmie?

Do not move on before both maxing your farming troops and learning how to farm elixir properly. Offence is always the key....

That's the argument most premature players use, that rushing is better because you get more and stronger defenses. nah... it's a rushed th10 that can't farm anymore so you beat him as soon you go to th10 and get those infernos...

I've been playing for about 6 months (effectively 4-5 months because I waste too much time on TH4, TH5 and TH7 where I stubbornly followed the max everything advice),
well... you'll need about 6 months to max TH8...
a maxed th8 wont even close to mine 1-2 months after he upgraded...
for the buildings, we will be the same... but for walls and heroes levels, I'm wayyy ahead because I've been grinding them much earlier...

you can argue with the loot, th8 and th9 loot is not that different... for collector farming th8 might offer advantages because you still able to loot th7, but for storage and DE farming... TH9 is way better.

I don't say maxing is that bad, at least it make sure your career will be smooth. But it's waste of time especially for good farmers that should be able to get more on next levels town hall beside of get stuck because too afraid to move on.

if you never use pekkaa or dragons, then no need to max your barracks...

I go to TH9 with just a barrack unlocked dragon (to get gems) with the rest just unlock to wall breakers, I just upgraded them to unlock wizard just because I need them for clan wars.

no... you're decent for TH7... I still have mortars and WT level.2/3 while I'm on TH7
but do not upgrade if you haven't maxed your troops to lv.4 and you still have trouble on elixir.

I just got my TH 7 and my 4th army camp(lvl1) and my cannons(2) and arch tower(1) lvl1 and just got my 2nd AD/Lab buliding/upgrading started
what should I upgrade next(I got 1 mil gold and 100k elixir)?

farm more elixir... you should upgrade your lab asap and get lv.4 troops

Awesome work man. I'm far behind at 570m. Question though, what are your thoughts on TH10? Will you be staying at TH9 for an extended amount of time?
