I simply trade barbs and minions to 12 Giants...

so, this is what I do...

barrack 1: required numbers wb and rest archers
barrack 2: Giants
barrack 3: archers
barrack 4: barbs

dark barracks: minions

So, I farm with about 12 wb and 5-15 minions (to take out BK and AQ)...
The giants, barb, and archers will be in mixed numbers because it's depend on how much I use them in previous raid.

on average, it's 10-14 Giants, 50-70 barbs and the rest archers...

My Giants just finished about 2 days ago, so I can't tell yet whether it's better or worse compared to BAM+wb
but from this 2 days, I can tell they works better to push into storage with less spells because Giants takes hits much than barbs but I usually run out of the 3 minutes raid time because they're so slow... lol...

Yeah I'm not at all worried about doing fine at th9, but the tricky bit was having the luxury to try to make the best possible decision for me. I do believe that not maxing is a better call for me and I am glad that there are threads like this and your other thread bringing forward that perspective.

My clan mate is Dossier, and he is doing very well at th9! He is very happy with moving up and is building his lego walls. He has been telling me to get to th9 for quite some time now and despite the loot penalty he never struggled to keep builders busy or building walls. He has been a great help to me figuring out how to do things as well :)

I visited your base a while ago and seems you've saved enough for the AQ, and you have much elixirs to get the added offence powers... I'm sure you'll like th9 :cool:

i have a question how do you deploy your army because i'm using the same army setup as you but i always seem to lose alot of resources because im losing the attack.

Maybe you could make a video or something?

I'm lvl 80 and TH9 and moving to upgrade my walls since most of them are still lvl 6

My first day as premature th9. i immediately get my AQ, upgrading my lab, army camp..

congratz...

you should raise your trophy a bit at least to 1500+, more is better...
if you stay on 1400, you will see much TH7 there and the loot penalty will kill you because you will press endless next button

good luck buddy, I think you will be fine...

nice, TH7 is where farming quest begins... max your lab and army camps asap as that's the best thing on TH7

I've maxed my offensive items and farming troops, my splash are maxed, and my storages are maxed as well. My point defenses are lvl6&7 (dunno if I should max it) I only use BARCH for now, so my barracks are lvl5 and one is lvl9 for the gem reward (unlock dragons in barracks). I also have no need for hogs, so my dark barracks are lvl1. Should I max out my lvl5 barracks for more troop capacity? And should I max out my walls? When should I move on to TH8?

(my walls are all lvl6 with the exception of 12 lvl7 walls)
