Around 1500 trophies as TH8 is just absolutely amazing right now. I think I must have done about 30 walls this week! Today alone I raided about 7M gold until my tesla finished a second ago. I have two walls left to upgrade, but both of them aren't being used in my base so I'm pretty satisfied. I'll probably max walls tomorrow seeing how good loot is (hope I don't jinx myself >.>)
Ofc, there are a lot of MiniBaller TH9's down here lately, been wrecked 4 times in the past day D;
High Gold 3 and Low Gold 2 is working great for me. Nearly every raid is a 500k+.
I was thinking the exact same thing momo lol....
DE over 500 every raid with barch, usually without spells around crystal II to I. Don't see any gold though.Quote:

town hall 10 using barch with 10 wall breakers 4 lightning, 1 rage. With this army I can farm efficiently from the collectors or crack open some storages. I save the spells for the tougher th9's and 10's. Since I'm not using de it seems to be accumulating fast enough to keep one hero upgrading. This works because all the premies are hiding down here, and I will occasionally take 150k off a town hall 8 with full storages.
town hall 8 using barch or bam with 3 lightning. Mostly storage farming, a few collectors. With town hall 8, loot is much easier in this range, lots of wealthy town hall 7's and premie 8's to pick on.
the new loot system isnt perfect, but loot is good enough in the 1400 cup range. I click next on average about 15 times and will take 80k from collectors or over 100k from storages and at least once every 9 or 10 raids I stumble on a really nice 300k base. Anyway, thats whats working for me right now. I'm not a hardcore farmer, just a log in raid/chat, log out type of player so I take what I can get and move on.
As A TH 9 I've been climbing up right now and at 1800+ (currently at 1842) I've been finding lots of collector bases with 200+/250+ gold for about 50 searches AT MOST and at least about 15. And since the collector bases almost every base I attack the mines are on the outside/ at 1 layer of walls. So if a TH 8 would go up there it would be even better for them I think because if I'm getting that much as a TH9 then for a TH8 it would be even better for them. Barch is what I use btw
I've had a really hard time farming for the past couple months (outside the 1gem boosts, which were awesome). Recently I've had better lucky. Maybe it's just TH9 catching up to me. I was a farming beast at TH8 a couple months ago under the old loot system. I need to adapt and figure out how to farm better now.
Already had a thread like this a week ago... most people said gold 2-3 on my poll. I say gold 3 around 1500-1600
