Gem Trading, donating and clan awards [Very beneficial to SuperCell!]

Gem Trading/Donating & Clan Awards

I would Like to discuss a few ideas for new features that should be implemented. These features will allow for more in-game use of gems, more interactivity between players, more reasons to join clans, and of course more profit for SuperCell.

(1) Gem Trading. The ability to send an amount of gems to another clanmate. As simple as going to their profile or the clan info list and clicking to send the desired amount.

(a) Increases player interactivity.
(b) Creates a movement of gems that will influence players to use them more.

(2) Gem Donations. The ability to donate gems to the clan. Not to any individual member but to the clan as a whole to be held by the clan account, uses for this will be clearer in feature 3.

(a) Can be used as a cost to join the clan.
(b) Can later be used for more features to spend gems such as clan advertisement.

(3) Clan Awards. At any point the clan leader can distribute all or a portion of the clan gems that have been received through player donations. These awards can be for things such as highest pusher, best donations, or whatever other reason.

(a) Will increase activity, keeping players playing.
(b) Mixes things up allowing for better clan interactivity.

gem trading could easily be exploted get multiple accounts and then get a clan castle then join the account your morepowerful account is one than have your weak account send your strong account all the gems they have so yea that is easily exploited

So you want to charge people gems to join clans and charge clans gems to advertise, no thank you sir.

I considered that but it can easily be avoided by limiting the amount of gems you can donate per day/week/person.
Or disallowing gem donation until a higher town hall.

Clans may require a donation to join, it would be the clans choice, and the gems would go back to the clan members anyway.

And there's no form of actual clan advertisement already so why not? and that was just a possible idea there's many ways it can be used. But the main idea I was focusing on was using it to award the clans members.

I don't really agree with this gem trading system because your wasting your money then you give free gems (money) to your clan mates so its best that we don't, but mate gold and elixir perhaps!

Is tyis ruled out? It should be.

Your idea of sharing/trading resources is very creative, but unfortunately it can easily be abused, and it's been ruled out by Supercell, probably for one of the following reasons:
1.Players would create multiple accounts in order to funnel resources into a single account.
2.Supercell would lose profits due to a fall in gem sales.

gem trading/gem donations. Counts as 'resource donating/trading'.

Clan banks (Putting resources/gems into a central fund and withdrawing/distributing them at a later date) is also ruled out, as it falls under 'trading resources/gems with other players'. Please see the stickies by clicking the word 'HERE' in pole's post.
