No hacking here ... Just a hole next to your town hall, where your tesla is.
Sorry to say, it's not a hack. Maybe it is a designing mistake. You left an open spot. Can you post your land?
Rastavibzz and Fakhouri are right, there's an open spot and that's why your attacker was able to deploy troops. One empty square is enough, and troops can be deployed even if you have a trap there.
A few related notes about open spots:
- Small open spots in the middle of the village can be used as strategic "deploy your troops here and die" layouts
- Players who are upgrading Teslas sometimes move them outside the walls and leave an opening (unintentionally)
- Traps don't prevent attackers from deploying troops
Agree with the rest of the posters.
To add on, you must have mistaken the tesla to be a normal 2x2 building.
When a tesla is place, only that 2x2 space is "no-spawn" area, and it doesn't extend out to 4x4 spawn since tesla doesn't have a 1 space of "no spawn" area around them.
E.G A cannon when placed, will have a 5x5 space of no-spawn area, whereas for tesla, its a mere 2x2 space only.
So in your case, there was an empty space right above the tesla.
OP If that is your base how on earth did you get so far in the game without knowing that?
I'm gob smacked
More money than sense.
I was hoping this would be a video of me taking someone's tesla out and deploying in the middle of their base with walls intact :p
it is such a gimmicky attack (and more oft than not isnt profitable) but I love it.
