i agree, too overpowered
They are strong, but the strongest thing about them is that they stop healing on your troops. This is the only building that can stop mass troops + healing spells. It is a necessity at th10
Not OP. So far it's one of the more efficient way for Anti Hog defense.
Thanks for feedback there should be a preferred target for infernos maybe like Hogs and giants but once they are gone it attacks the others, just a suggestion
I don't have any trouble taking them out with my level 5 archers

Here's the thing about infernos...
SC nerfs them, then the "hogs are OP" threads come back
SC doesn't nerf them, and the "infernos are OP" threads continue.

It's simple there are raid comps that no matter how maxed the base or how pro the layout is they never lose, they always get atleast 1 star.
So from that we can deduct that defense isn't overpowered.
I for one do not believe that inferno towers are over powered. They actually keep the balance of the game. Without the single target feature, Golems would become to op because inferno towers are the things that bring them down most of the time. And without the multiple target feature hogs would be Very op, for inferno towers help very much bring them down.
Yes well I see the point but for the town hall 9's it sucks because every 500k+ raid is th10 fully maxed and sucks
but at th10 it could be easier

Quite frankly hogs and infernos are BOTH op I have a great solution.
Hogs nerf: Make it so once hog riders receive 50% damage they loose their hogs taking away their ability to jump walls.
Inferno nerf: infernos only have a semi circle like a slice of a pie...give them one direction that they can be aimed starting with the point at the base that branches out triangularly rather than in a full circle.
I seriously hate the multi target IT, sc should create something new such as spell or De troop to counter it!
I can defeat hogs virtually all of the time even without infernos. It isn't hard if you design for killing hogs. Infernos are OP because of their ability to own healer giant and trash troops, though. I would like to see them only halve heals from healers, which are bad at keeping up with hogs, but greatly benefit giants. I would also like to see the number of troops targeted reduced to 4, maybe even 3 for rank 1 inferno.
And I just hit TH10 and built my first infernos, so I'm suggesting nerfing my own defenses.
I think the balance is about right.
Side note: can people stop saying "OP" to mean overpowered please? OP has always stood for "original post / poster" and your usage is confusing in a forum context.
Side note 2: while I'm at it, "FPS" for "first person shooter" needs to stop as well, "FPS" stands for "frames per second", and again is confusing since the two meanings are so closely related.

How about no? The meanings are easy to distinguish based on context. Hardly anyone uses FPS for frames per second, anyway, so maybe you should stop using it for that to ease confusion.
Every upgrade or new thing for a reason...example: Witches, lots of little guys running round-splash needed to destroy them...boom! Lvl 8 Mortar and Wizard Towers. Xbows are for the little Tier 1 troops, Inferno Towers are for big max troops. So when they made Hog Riders better, they had to find a way to stop them...hence Inferno multi targets. If you think theyre OP then you need to find a good way to raid them. Didnt see why they brought out Level 3, and the fact that theyre bringing out L6 minions may suggest extra levels to the high power troops...dragons havnt made a comeback yet...
no one attacks anymore in master league 3/2 cause infernos are crazy overpowered
