Time for veeeery caaaaareful fingers...

I hired Tom for a day yesterday for the first time ever, and now I have an exciting quantity of shovels. Problem is that now it's all those pesky little people want. Shovels please. I want shovels too. Have you got any shovels? Oh is this the shovel shop? And look at all these coins I can give you.... oooo aren't they shiny? Shiny shiny coins...

Must be very steady with my tapping from now on...

But they're paying double! ;)

Unless they're paying double plus diamonds and vouchers they can stick their shovel requirements up their arboretum... ;)

If you intend to use them yourself and not trade them away, might as well throw them into the mine to avoid accidents plus using the barn space for other stuff. Best time to do it is when you open up your farm in the morning, collect all the feed and shop more stuff from DD (leave all the other stuff untouched) until your barn is full. Then u can throw in a shovel, pick up an item on the ground, throw in another shovel, harvest an egg, etc. This way your barn stays full and you don't pick up ore each time you throw in a shovel. Ore will he lined up nicely in fromt of the mine and you can pick up as much or little as you need when you need it :)

Thanks PinkStarbelly - I've already done quite a lot of that, but then I got a bit paranoid... I know it's silly but because you can't see extra ore appearing onto the pile I started worrying that there was a limit to how much you can store, and then worrying in case you don't get diamonds if you do that...

Yeah I know, I need to get over that. There's no logical reason why that would be coded in. At least I don't think there is... Oh now I'm paranoid again... lol

I've got the same problem but with saws and axes. I'm not willing to ditch my stash of them because I grow a lot of trees and hate seeing dead ones.

Same problem here. Every little people event I sell lots of produce, but miss out on barn items because all they want is hardware.

I've stocked up on eggs to discourage them from asking me for my 60 syrups and 50 spicy pizzas.

Of course, I'll have to deal with the egg surplus when the event ends. :p

It's high time the programmers stopped the little people wanting stuff like that. After all, they don't ask for land or barn/silo expansion, the boats don't ask for jewellery, etc, so they CAN do it.

Also, I pile up ore all the time and always find diamonds when I finally decide to collect, so no worries there. I don't know the max you can pile, but I've personally piled waaaay more than 50, so it's got to be at least 100 if not more.
