Upgrade materials can be found around your farm. If you mean you want to trade for them...post your offer in the trading thread. Make sure you tell people you're on Facebook.

The special mailbox along with the gift catalogue and Alfred, the postman is unlocked at level 15.
The regular mailbox and Daily Dirt (the paper) is unlocked at level 7 I think, along with the roadside shop.
