What should I buy/upgrade?

This will be a thread I will use to share my current statistics, and ask what to buy next and what to upgrade the queue of.


Hello there! Here I will post my current Hay Day statistics and to ask for advice.

The statistics shown here are as of 1/23/2014

Level: 17

Production Machines:

Feedmills (x2): Queue lengths of 3 and 4.

Bakery (x1): Queue length of 3.

Dairy (x1): Queue length of 3.

Sugar Mill (x1): Queue length of 3.

BBQ Grill (x1): Queue length of 3.

Popcorn Pot: Queue length of 2.

Pie Oven: Queue length of 2.

Animals:

Chickens: Pens (x2) 12/12 chickens.

Cows: Pens (x2) 5/10 cows.

Pigs: Pens (x1) 4/5 pigs.

Sheep: Pens (x1) 3/5 sheep.

Docks:

(none)

I have not finished this, and will do so sometime soon. I will begin to ask opinions on these statistics as soon as I can.

Get dairy and sugar to 5 or beyond.
You will want to do this asap :)
Waking up to 5+ syrups and cheese/goat cheese is nice

Open your dairy, sugar mill and feed mills up all the way as soon as possible.

I waited to open my dock around level 26 or so.

My advice to you as a new player is don't be too quick to buy more animal pens & animals just because they're offered on an upgrade. Once you've got them you can't get rid of them, they take up a lot of space & you can get along with a lot less than the max. Secondly choose your friends wisely, help them when you can & stick with those who help you in return. Happy Hay Day! :)
