This has been going on for a long time, and it should be stopped. Okay, so maybe nurffing isnt the right solution - balance is what we need. It was given to TH10 with the multi-inferno. All we need now, is a balance for TH9.

People shouldnt have to fear, or create a curtain base to atempt to overcome one type of troop -that's not why a lot of people play this game.

Its a a stragergy game - not 'hold you finger down for 5seconds and watch your single type of troop destroy a whole, year-old base.

Exactly, when you have to make a base to prevent a single troop from getting 100% on you every single time, there is a problem. Spamming 35+ hogs from the same spot and getting easy 100% victories is absurd.

Not entirely true. There are such things as traps, bombs and Base designs that counter hogs. Hogs are horrible in spaced out defenses, because even though they are quick, they can be easy split up or spend time running towards defense building enough that they can take enough damage to die in the process. And because defense buildings are spaced out, heal spells become less effective. A good example are Long wall base designs like this:

Besides, Hogs despite looking simple to use, does actually take skill to actually perform a good Hog attack on a well upgraded base. Mass hog armies are a high risk troop, if by chance your hog army dies off too quickly, it's almost a 100% defeat. And even if you were to make out with 1-5 hogs at the end, without many troops left for cleanup, you can't get the 3star / 100% resource grab due to time running out.

I can easily three star any th9 base with hogs with 3 healing spells, and we get 5 spells to use

Dont think there is any th9 that cant be beaten by hogs just because you get attacked by unskilled players

Not saying that my base can't be beaten, but I've won against Hog players that clearly know what they are doing. It's the matter of defenses, CC troops, bombs and a combination of things done to counter an effective Hog attack.

To be saying that with hogs, you can beat any TH9 base is arrogant. I'm an excellent Hog user, and even then I don't say silly things like that. There are too many variables that can cause any army to fail a raid.

You won against bad hog players, its very easy to lure your cc troops and very easy to reach the core of your village. Its not hard to see the mistakes they made when you watch the replay

You probably got them by surprise with those 2 giant bombs didnt u.. That can happen but its the attackers fault right

Nothing in this game is certain... Ill hold my hands up and say ive come unstuck using hogs and id say im pretty good with em,a maxed th9 set up right will cause you probs with hogs end of :cool:

Every hog thread is the same discussion, th9 saying there are good layouts against hogs and th10 saying any th9 village can be beaten by hogs

My point is: op has a point, they nerfed hogs vs th10 but its still the same vs th9

I consider myself pretty skilled at using hogs.... or at least above average and it takes me close to the full 3 minutes to 3 star a decent TH9, often I run out of time. If you are getting flattened in 1 minute your base must be horrible and your cc empty of to the side. Against a decent base it takes about a minute sometimes more to just lure and kill the cc, BK and AQ

yes but YOU have stated you can easily 3 star any th9 base with only 3 spells... im sorry we are questioning your pro skills with hogs but that was a big statement to make on a game where there can be a fine line between winning and losing :cool:
