Hog Riders Overpowered

I've been playing clash of clans for over a year now and love the game. I'm level 89 and have a great base. Almost maxed th9. But what bugs me and makes me want to stop playing, are hog rider. They should not be able to crush through my base in under a minute. This matter is very frustrating. I spend so much time and some money on upgrading my base for it to be completely destroyed by an over powered troop. I think something should be done. I hope you take my message into consideration.

Hi Riley,

i think higs are not OP. With the right base design they are very easy to stop. Have a look at my base.

Putting 2 giant bombs next to each other is a big help. Also it helps to have a ring in which no defenses are placed.

I'm not sure about your Th.. But i used this very same layout when i was th9 against hogs. And even at 8 this layout works.

Note : usually input the teslas in the outer ring..

Also fear not cause Th9's have a fighting chance against them too, just like the game shoukd be. Build an anti hog layout and fill your very hard to lure CC with maxed minions, and hay presto your get some defensive wins against hogs.

If you want to find a good layout to beat them there are a few thread in here about them.

It amazes me that people still want hogs to be nerfed again? Really?!!

Base design is key, quit demanding another nerf to them.

Ya but that move also affected non-hog strategies. I think that addition of the multi-target infernos was like taking a sledge hammer to problem that needed a scapula. I've been checking the top 10 players and hogs appear to be making a comeback, just not 100% hogs and a clean up crew. (Golem, a few witches, clean up crew and hogs)

I think hog riders are great working to master but then after you hit a brick wall at 2500 trophies you hit the Great Wall of china! 2800 Trophies!

Hogs have been nerfed 3 times if they are still overpowered to you then to be quite honest you are aweful at this game

your a town hall 9 and losing? change your defence to beat them town hall 9 can own hogs with right def

something was actually done about it not once but TWICE. Not only they decreased their hit points but also created a new mode for inferno towers. What do you guys want? make them obsolete?! like the witches... I don't get it. You want to always win on defense? instead of being happy and start acquiring some skills to use them you start nagging...

Yeah off topic but I can't help to mention how much I think SC messed up with the inferno towers, I just barely got a 50% to a premie Th7 (yes he would be best called a premature Th7) with 2 of them and I wasn't using hogs:(

Th9 don't have IT's so its us poor guys getting spanked, well not spanked exactly I win defences to all but the best hoggers and I'm happy about that balance, although most hoggers are getting smarter nowadays and anti hog bases will have to evolve with them.

If it makes u feel any better, it takes 2 minutes for me to flatten a maxed TH9 with hogs.
