Who likes to zap DE?

I believe you dont condone of lazy farming as well then? And you only fight clashers who is the same TH level or higher then you?

Some see zapping as effective or even efficient. Farming to some is just a routine. The loot gain is the satisfaction. Strategy is used during trophy pushes.

The fun part of zapping isnt the zapping itself, its the upgrading your heroes or dark troops and getting to experience their power firsthand! Now keep in mind that us zappers still do have to farm for regular gold and elixir! Zapping DE is kinda like regular farming in the way that (at least to me) they are both such a grind. The fun part of the game to me is the trophy pushes, being social, and wondering how the guy you zapped plans on revenging you...and then of course laughing at his epic fail as he realizes that zappers can indeed have maxed out defenses and plenty of traps and teslas that devastate his expensive army...

ok i admit it, i somewhat like zapping:p
but i usually dont do it since i dont need de too often. if i do need de, then i just look for drills. but if its a lvl 4 storage and theres 1450 de available and not much is in the mines, i dont give a care in the world about my base:p and i drop 3 lightning spells :p
usually, im not revenged.
(the secret to zapping is to go to a high league, get attacked by someone thats a really high level, look how much de is in there storage and when they are offline, revenge them and lightning their de that way. they cant do much to you after that)

1450? Whats with the low standards? In all seriousness though, up here in crystal 2 2000-3000 is the usual target for my lightning.

whoa!:eek: thats a lot.
however, when i push, i do lightning de when someone destroys my base and they have like 1900-2300 de! thats perfect for me. but honestly, i dont lightning too much, so i dont really get de too often.

You wrote that you enjoy pushing. I think I got to somewhere in C2 as TH8, although I didn't put in too much effort - try to raid with giants, healers, wizzies, WBs and BArch and pack 2 rage+heal or 2heal+rage. It's an excellent DE grinding army for taking on maxed TH8s, semi-new TH9s (lvl 1 xbows and ~TH7-8 defs) and premmie 10s - break into the cores and snatch their DE tanks.

That's what I did as TH8, and I had around 400k DE looted before moving on to TH9 - long before I found these forums I tried zapping a handful of bases, but the giant healer wiz army is just so much more efficient. I also read what you wrote about effort earlier - I think it's safe to say you won't find another way to get DE that requires less effort than zapping, but if you're into efficient raiding, try out the army mentioned above. Aim for 1.5k minimum, or above 1k if there's loads of gold + elixir available as well.

Hope you give it a try! Who knows, you might change your mind about zapping :rolleyes:

I was a zapper at TH7 and 8 all of the time. I'm TH9 now and the only reason why I don't do it is because I only ever carry 1 lightning spell on me. I too don't understand the hate as soooo many people here are farmers who like it's been said, just beat on those TH lower than them or hunt for abandoned collectors... let's not forget all those people who leave their TH outside of their defense for a free shield! And these people have the nerve to hate on zapping!? The irony is hilarious and people will always complain about something.

I've been zapped 28 times in the last 24 hours so I'm no stranger to being on either side of the fence and I have NO problem with it. Just another part of the game like mass hogings and nexting ;)

I find zapping is a great revenge against a high TH that wiped me (TH8 atm).

I find it incredibly ironic, that upon my entry into TH8, my first 2 defenses were vs TH9 who triple zapped my de storage ... ha ha ha.
