It's pretty easy to defend against maxed troops unless you're a premmie. You either won't get attacked because you have no loot or you actually have good defenses. What am I supposed to do against some TH8 with 3 lvl 5 lightning spells when I'm trying to save up for an upgrade?
That's really basically the bottom line of my argument against zapping. You can't defend against it. If you could then there would be no more problem. Lightning spells would still have plenty of other uses anyways.
Raid smart, and work shields like everyone else saving for an upgrade. Think about it this way, would you rather have a TH7 with 3 lightenings take out 40% of available DE (and your exposed TH ... I am assuming this since you are saving for an upgrade), or a TH10 take you for all you got (minus the 10% loot penalty).
Honestly the TH10, because raiding lower town halls is just part of the game and incentive to upgrade more and more. True in the case of the TH7 I can revenge him, but he honestly doesn't deserve it if he can't farm it right for himself (more the case of TH8 that annoy me because they even have drills too).
You should care. It does not need to be fair.
But it IS a legitimate attack. If it is endorsed by SC, then WHY should anyone be ashamed in doing it??
Dignity? What a joke.Quote:
And good for you bro, as I previously stated it's obvious many people play this game without a shred of dignity so good job.
Assuming you are TH10, the moment you attack a TH9 or TH8, you have thrown any shred of dignity out the window.
If you "fight like a man" as so many zap haters have stated, you would only attack your own level - TH10. It's like a boxing match between a heavyweight and a middle or lightweight.... is there any dignity in winning that match???
But should you feel ashamed of attacking TH9 or TH8? Absolutely not! This is how the game is designed, just like DE zapping.
Firstly, my apologies, I am new to the forum and am still getting the hang of things (like replying properly to threads)
Secondly, regarding your comment about lower town halls, are you telling me when you see a loaded TH 8 base with weak defenses with over 600k loot you will not attack it? I call bull♥♥♥♥ sir. You are sitting at gold three, hardly up there playing with the big boys, so spare me your views of self dignity. You like to flatten lower bases who can't defend themselves, just like me and everyone else.
Lastly, this is a war game. Steal everything, give nothing back, and use whatever you can to do it. If it doesn't fit in with your moral guidelines, maybe hay-day is a better game for you.
You could call it a strategy I suppose. "It does not need to be fair" are you kidding me? Every single person who's ever lived wants their circumstances to be fair. Life isn't fair, but this is a game. Supercell has the power to make things fair which would include making a way to defend against a strategy that cannot lose.
There's nothing undignified about attacking a lower town hall. It encourages people to keep advancing through the game. Otherwise people would just max out their town hall and stay there. Zapping DE can't be defended against so it's a cheap "attack strategy" hence the lack of dignity to use it.
Lower as in TH6 and TH7. As I've said atleast twice now, attacking one town hall lower is part of the game to encourage people to advance. You must also be new to the game if you don't understand farming...lol. I use cheap army compositions to take out inactives with full collectors, and TH8s who aren't premmies can easily defend themselves.
But I'm done constantly repeating my stance to three different people. If can't comprehend the fact that zapping is cheap because there's no defense against it, then I can't even talk to you.
