I need some help getting 1250 trophies quickly

I really need the 450 gems so I can fill up half my gold and upgrade to TH7. Getting the first half of my gold is easy, but the second half is not. I get attacked by so many people because my resources are so high. I need 1.2 mil for th7. Anything higher than 700k gold and I start to get attacked by babarian kings, DE troops and sometimes dragons (probably because they REALLY want that gold). Some people send such big armies after me that even the best defended, fully maxed out TH6 base could not cope. The reason I need the gems is so I can simply use the gems to buy the 2nd half of my resources and finally move onto TH7.

In terms of attacking, I have 970 trophies, and at this level, there doesn't seem to be any easy raids. By easy I mean being able to get 100% with 20 - 30 babarians and 15 goblins. The problem with training better troops and in greater numbers is that it takes a long time, and I just want to move away from TH6 quickly because I've been there forever, and you get so much good stuff at th7.

I don't really want to spend real money. What is the best way to gain trophies quickly?

Snipe town halls, it's kind of cheap but...

Snipe town halls by finding bases with their town halls exposed and dropping a couple archers near the town hall. Destroy it and find another base.

Just don´t log off until you got the rest of that gold. Obviously that way you won´t get attacked.
In terms of gaining cups... do the same.

Sorry to say this but if you can't manage to earn enough gold to upgrade your th then you aren't getting to 1250 as a th6. And then what do you do when it comes time to upgrade again? Or to upgrade other buildings besides the th?

Furthermore, even if you could then the effort expended would be exponentially greater than the would be effort of, like, raiding for a couple hours?

But, err, yes, win trophies to increase them. Sniping ths is a viable way to do this.

If you can't get 600k at TH6, I don't see how getting to TH7 with gems will help you.

If I remember 1000 T correctly, you need 4-5 wall breakers because most bases have walls surrounding their collectors and storages. You also need giants while your goblins/archers/barbarians get the ressources (I suggest from clan castle if your clan can provide level 5-6 giants).

You need to max your camps because to farm TH7 and TH8, you will need alot of people. It takes a while with so low troops to empty a maxed storage. Are all your troops max level?

If you spend your gems on ressources, you won't have them for your builders and you have more problems at TH7 and TH8.

Do not worry. You should get to 1250 trophies at your own pace. It is good to upgrade your attacking and defenses so you you do not lag behind on the game so when you actually get up there, you will be able to sustain yourself.

I just tried some TH sniping with archers, but it looks like i'm going to have to take 2 lightning spells with me. Everyone seems to put morters near their hall which is very annoying.

Don't do it.

If you are struggling to get enough gold to upgrade that shows you clearly aren't ready to upgrade. Stay at TH6 and max out your base first. If you are struggling to hold gold at your current level then increasing TH will make it a lot worse.

Also buying gold is the most inefficient use of gems.

If you are determined to do it........just train archers and snipe TH's

My problem with raiding is that I suck at it. I once lost 60 trophies in the space of 5 minutes.

Those gems should be spent on a builder, not wasted on gold

Put those gems to your third builder. Once you have five builders the most efficient way to use gems is on the boosts.
What attacking army are you using? Can you post a picture of your base?

Please post your army composition.

Losing trophies is not a problem. My other account stayed a 800-900 trophies for such a long time.

Are you in a clan? They should be able to help you

Yes I'm in a clan but they are not giving me troops despite the fact I have requested them.

When I attack I usually start off with a couple of lightning spells, then 8 -11 giants followed by wall breakers. After that it varies. Sometimes I use wizards (about 12) and other times I use babarians and goblins (30 of each)

Well since I am now completly out of elixir from spamming the train button in anger, I will take a break to let my resources build back up. I have also decided to abandon that gem challenge. Instead I will let the gold and elixir biuld up and upgrade my defences. I could upgrade my wizard towers to level 3 and mortars to lvl 4.

I guess this was kind of a pointless thread created from unnecessary rage. Lets just pretend it never happened :)

Don't stress so much. Search around for a helpful clan that wants to donate. Take your time and enjoy each stage of the game. Try to max everything possible before moving to the next TH level. And finally, gems are best used for builders. Gemming resources is very inefficient.

Really? Using prized 450 gems on gold?
I mean, I get the point if you used your money to buy those gems, BUT THOSE ARE A WASTE OF YOUR ACHIVEMENT GEMS!
What a waste, use them on your 3rd builder hut.
And 20-30 barbs and 15 gobs for 3 stars is about TH3 level.
Cmon, just be patient, lots of upgrades take more time when you go higher into the game.

You sound like you are a premature Th6. DO NOT UPGRADE TO TOWNHALL 7 or spend gems on gold.

A few things...
First, you must max everything before going up a town hall. Why? Because there is something called a loot penalty. If you attack someone one th below you, you only get 90% of the loot. 2 ths below you, 50%. 3+ is 25%. This is why th10 farming is so difficult, and also why you should definitely max EVERYTHING, walls, defenses, army camps... EVERYTHING.
Also, you shouldn't spend your 450 gems on gold. Spend it on a builder instead. Builders are most useful, and if you have 3, you get better much quicker than if you only have 2.

If you suck at raiding than you need to practice not upgrade you're townhall. If your current clan is not supportive than you need to find a new one. There are some great starter clans in the clan section of the forums. You can also give global a go... Just be prepared to try a lot clans before finding a good one.

DO NOT GO TO TH 7 UNTIL UR MAXED OUT AS A TH 6 WALLS AND EVERYTHING

I made that mistake but my dad didn't and is now on his road to maxed th 8

dont waste your gems on gold! Get the 3rd builder

Echoing the others that say you need to get better at raiding along with making sure your armies are upgraded appropriately. I went from a max TH5 to my current 6 and never had any problem with getting as much loot as I needed within an hour or two. I rarely get raided either because of my base design, strong defenses, and making sure I spend most of my gold before logging off.

Even if your defenses suck right now, the best thing you can do is spend your extra gold upgrading your walls before starting a new upgrade. You probably won't get attacked if you don't have any gold to lose.
