Stupid potatoes! They just slip away without you noticing, and then all of a sudden you've got a fish and chip boat and only 4 potatoes. And is anyone selling them at that precise moment in time? Are they heck.

Is it just me who's this idiotic?
For me it is strawberries. It is not just me not taking care thinking 'oh whatever, they can be bought off the paper or neighbors' shops' easily. I don't like doing that, so for me it is a challenge to keep a certain stock of things/crops. I just don't know what it is with those strawberries, hehe. It happens with potatoes too, but very very seldom :D
I make this mistake often. It doesn't make you idiotic but I think potatoes is nearly one of the last on the list for sowing on your ploughed field so like me you probably forget about it then it's too late!Quote:

For some reason, I never run out of strawberries. I never buy or sell them, either. Guess I've hit the sweet spot for them.
My theory is that it's because potatoes are a stealth ingredient. If you're making a strawberry cake you know you're using strawberries. But it's too easy to chuck a casserole in the oven and not think about the ingredients if there's no red...

I grow them, buy them, covet them--lol. I always have 40+ of them in my silo and feel icky if the numbers fall too low. I have a problem. Lol!
Strawberries, on the other hand, I run out of all the time--especially now with the strawberry jam....

Aw that's kind of you, thank you :) I ended up flagging my missing fish and chips and the crate got filled. Luckily I'd got over-excited when I levelled up to 41 and they unlocked, and made plenty of them (ah that's where my potatoes went...)Quote:

Lettuce! Always running out. :rolleyes: Sometimes will start with 80 in morning and then at night when I replant long-growing plants, I'm down to 25, how!?!? Ugh.... So many times I said I need 100 on hand at all times, but it's impossible to buy, and I forget to plant during the day.
Mine is potatoes still. Not sure how many times I have used them all then have to hunt for them. Not many people sell potatoes.
