Builder huts, the difference between 2 builders huts and 5 builder huts time is cut down by half, or a couple hundreds days cut off.
Well I have all my builders huts so i usually use them to accidentally finish troop training. ;) :p
Builders Huts in the beginning. then boosting of pumps and mines, and then if I want troops upgrades then I use them for that.

Instead of a poll, this should just be a thread about what you do (and don't do) with your gems. Since SuperCell can't get it through their thick heads that good farming = more gemming I will help them along with the things I spend gems on and what I don't:
Spending:
1. Builder huts - if you really want to play 5 builders is a neccessity.
2. Speeding up Hero builds - I never gem the actual DE but I hate sleeping heroes!!!!! So supercell, if you make the farming friendlier I spend more gems since my heroes are upgrading more often!
3. Spell factory and barracks while trophy hunting. If I can farm sufficient resources then at times I can push cups. And when I push, I gem the ♥♥♥♥ out of my barracks and spell factory. If I can't farm enough resources then I just don't push and I don't spend gems.
4. Speeding up build times. If I am loaded with resources I will speed up build times so I can drop some of that gold into walls and new upgrades. Of course, since the new year I haven't had this issue because the new system sucks.
What I WILL NOT spend gems on:
1. Resources. The game should allow for decent farming without having to spend money on resources. Plus, gemming walls would cost you thousands of $$$ and eliminate the sense of accomplishment you get from farming all that gold.
2. Spell factory or barracks boost while farming. BAM is by far the best farming strategy and doesn't require any gems. I refuse to gem for any type of farming.
So please give us our game back SuperCell.....
