Interesting that you aren't being hit by Hog armies or Balloons. Seems like you have a lot of loot to lose, enough to warrant a full on attack rather than a TH snipe. That base would be decimated because it doesn't employ any of those anti-hog , anti-air strategies (by the layout, but not sure where the traps are).

I do this for two reasons.

It is true what you say.
However, you are missing on a lot of opportunities to get a free shield, as I am sure, other people often press next on your your base instead of giving you a shield.

My defense sucks big time. (except for the skull walls)
However, I get 95% TH snipes as attacks against my base.
In the last two weeks I only had 3 real raids against my base at all.
Two were a revenge,(one of them even failed to take my loot), the other was the only real raid I got (hogged...).
Once I logg off, it takes about 5 minutes to get my TH sniped on average, several times a day. And nothing else is taken. Go figure.

So it is my firm belief, that it is better to put the TH in a corner PLUS put decorations beside it to assure the low level TH snipers that there are no teslas lurking to take their army.

Why should we "feed" those stupid snipers who snipe up to crystal for the gems?
The gem reward isn't that great, so obviously the people who do it are probally noob TH6's.
I really don't want to help noob TH6's, so I put my TH in range of defenses.
(Actually, it dosen't, it just looks like it, I did that so the TH6's would get discouraged while the TH8's. who mostly know how to play and only snipe to mantiain their farming range, snipe it. I'd always take a TH8 sniper over a Noob Th6sniper.

You may want to redesign your base for a more traditional square or symmetrical base. Sad to say, I think I may be able to 1-2 star you with my Giant Archer Barb Army + heroes with 1 rage spell but taking all your resources. Hypothetically speaking. :o

yeah I've been thinking about it since the jump to th9...Was gonna wait til I got creamed a couple of times but it hasn't happened yet. Once I go back to crystal we'll see what happens. I got an antihog design from a clannie I want to try out.

I think the complexity of my current design and the multiple trap hiding places puts off a lot of would be attackers. They have to choose wisely if they don't want their giants to go to airborne school.

you're not feeding them...
you give them 10 trophy and they give you easy 12hours protection... so It is a win win...

suppose a TH5 snip to crystal, they find your base and snip... you give them 10 trophy, but that will save your 350K gold and 2K DE will be safe for a while.

If they got killed by your traps and tesla, yes... you gain 30 trophy. But few of your traps already settled, heroes and CC troop probably killed, .. and your weak base now may pop out next on real farmers and you will loose that 350K gold and DE more easier.

If you're a good farmer and have much resource on storages, you should know this simple thing by experience

I've all time sitting will full gold, full elixir and much DE before I can spend them when I have free builders... I always hope TH5/6 snap my TH giving me 12 hours protection instead of full hogs / balloons pass by when traps already denotated, heroes and cc killed. That will big help so they can stole my 300K gold and 2K DE more easier.

If you're poor farmer... never get your storages to full. then go ahead and place the that trap things and telsa things on TH. yes... it must be fun...
but If you have big storages, you will realize that dull things just make it more easier to loose your precious storages

I put my TH in range of a defense, but the defense out of range of an archer attack. So the only way to get my TH is with archers. Seems to work for me.

You do realize you're only a L47 TH7 right? I was level 53 when I was a "noob th6" and upgraded to TH7. You're not that far off from those "noobs" you're insulting >.>
