Is there a way to search a player?

So last night I went on global chat to laugh at people but actually ended up meeting a really cool guy and girl. I was called away and left my phone on but to my great distress COC timed out. I searched for the guy's clan to shoot him an invite, but he had left it. Is there anyway to search a player? If not, would it really be that hard to implement it? Thank you.

Bro, there are so many clashers. There would be too many results and you'd never find this guy. Unless his name is "KITTENDABOMBDIGGEDYPINEAPPLE" you'd never find him if this was implemented.

There is still a way to find him. Join the clan that he was in and see if his name is still in clan chat. It is click in it and it will show his current clan. Then you can join that one and find him.

There's no way to directly search for him.
