Don't listen to these people, you are fine upgrading walls is near useless because of Hogs and Air Troops which are very commonly used, if you decide to max walls you will have idle builders and fall far behind Defence wise, please don't cancel and the Archer Towers aren't enough to make a difference
I say have at least half lvl 7 walls as they are where it gets really expensive. I see your mortars are maxed out, good there. The archer towers I have never had to worry about, you get my OK on that. So yeah, just some walls and that would be it.

yeah a bit too early. all ur walls should be lvl 7 min, and ur archer towers are lvl 8/9. get those to lvl 10. plus u have no teslas, so heck no.
You would have been fine. TH9 farming is just fine and not much different from TH8, plus you have stronger troops to farm with. You're way ahead of where most people are when they upgrade.
Quit saying the same sh$t over and over. Hogs & balloons aren't at gold I and below. My wall 9 saved me from hogs army plenty of times. It's the last 50 seconds that count.Quote:

Big mistake on my part was not maxing my walls and teslas, once you get to th9 it gets much hard to farm for those resources. People say you get a stronger army, well you first have to have the resources to upgrade the lab, then the resources to upgrade the troop, both those building times are over two weeks. So stay and max everything and have full loot once your th finishes

What about your teslas? I don't see them in the photo and you did not mention them. Max for th8 is 3 at level 6, and I would not recommend going to th9 without them. Your walls are very low and your archer towers should not be dismissed either. Plan on getting pummeled by th10's regularly with those low defenses. Cancel your upgrade to th9 if there is still time and work on those defenses more first. What about your troops and barbarian king? King should easily be at L10 before proceeding to th9, all elixir troops and spells should be maxed, and some, if not all dark troops should be maxed provided your king is at L10.
As for the hogs, walls DO make a difference. A BiG difference. Many times, an attacker will destroy all or nearly all of your defenses and then send in some other ground troops, like goblins, barbarians or archers, and almost always barbarian king and archer queen. The better your walls are, the longer they will be kept at bay and the less loot they will get before time runs out.
no tesla? you should have max it or atleast level it up while in th8. it takes a lot of gold and builder time.
