Personally I would say it was a bad idea upgrading. I would have maxed out everything and done at least lvl 7 walls because the loot at TH 9 is very different than at TH 8.
Archer towers r ok but the walls r not. U want all lvl 7 or 8 walls.

From who because th7-8 farming is completely different to th9 farming now especially with the new system
Max the archer towers and get up to dark purple walls. You're going to have to save a ton of resources to get those new toys but you will get feasted on by high level TH8's and 9's with those walls. Not worth it if can't hold on to loot
I wouldn't even recommend a full walls 7 th8 to upgrade to th9, you should have at least 150-something walls 8 ready to upgrade to wall 9.
Thank you everyone for the great responses. I probably should have asked this question before I upgraded because I cancelled and only get 50% back but I hope to be max soon and im glad i cancelled.
