Loot fluctuation?!

Hey clashers,

Today morning, I decided to go on a spree of attacking to see if I can save up 7mil gold for my x-bow level 3 upgrade.

I started the morning with 500k in my storages. As finished training my usual army composition for Barbs, Archers, Minions, Goblins and a few Wall Breakers, I went on a rampage. To my surprise, I found a lot of 'raidable' bases from early hours 9:00GMT to around 12:00GMT.

Raiding constantly for 3hours, I managed to save 4.5mil gold. Now, as it passed 12:00GMT, feeling confident I can make the remainder 2.5mil, I went on the hunt once again. However, to my dismay, loot was just appauling again. So i dropped a few trophy's but had no luck.

So sadly, I could not make it to 7mil so decided to use 3.2mil of my 4.5mil on my Mortar upgrade to level 7.

This brings me to ask my fellow clashers a simple question...

Does the loot fluctuate?

Before the update, I didnt experience such fluctuation. There were always decent loot available after a few minutes of searching.

I've found the same thing - Sunday I could battle all day - but I only come across the loot in the evening.... I work in the week and Saturday I'm busy so can't say if this happens everyday. I just assumed that it depends when people are coming on and off the game globally speaking

Loot has always fluctuated, it very much depends on what you want, and how you take it of course.
You see more fluctuations from days of the week than from times of the day in my experience though.

09:00am to 13:00 GMT weekdays has always been the best time for me to raid. When the U.S is asleep basically. After that time it's pretty much hit and miss.

Yesterday was a surprisingly good day for me, loot & the trophy range I was in. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have had pretty good loot for the past 2 days now but the day before I couldn't find anything the highest was maybe about 150,000 if I was very lucky and now I've been see 300,000

For me it seems like the best times to raid is late during the night and early in the morning. At around 10 EST (i live on the east coast) the loot seems to drop dramatically. Late night and very early moring are when I find the best loot. I'm in gold 3 btw.

Not to this degree.

I had the same experience, this morning pretty good raids, nothing to complain about... but currently loot is absolutely horrendous, 200k worth(i am th 10) of next buttoning, and 3-5 raids that were 100-150 not worth attacking....

Loot fluctuation is a very common thing that i've experienced ever since TH9.

It is more apparent when you play longer hours, which most TH9s and above tend to do.

Loots been very ♥♥♥♥ for me for the last 48 hours. Worst I've seen in a while. Aaaah that felt better :)

I'm in michigan its 9pm now not able to log on during the day till the week end so I get on at night and the loot always sucks... I just end up not attacking or settling because of the nexting. However one the weekend in the early morning I do well. On the other hand before the update i had no problem finding the loot i needed????
