To upgrade a seeking air mine to just level 2, it costs 2 million gold. That is 400k more then a level 6 mortar. Getting 2 million gold is not the issue, but for what little upgrade it does to help your defense, 2 million gold is way overpriced. For what it is giving you, I suggest a price of something in the range of 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 gold.

It's crazy expensive for a very small upgrade. I recommend just skipping it. I'm finishing up maxing the rest of my traps now that I only have a few defenses left to max at th9. I will probably do this upgrade when I finish all my defenses and I'm just working on heroes and lvl 10 walls before th10. That's what I recommend. Get everything else maxed and do the traps as fillers.
Actually, maxed seeking air mine does a great deal of more damage than level 1, but if you look at the change level by level, not a big change, this is mostly for constant trophy pushers, if you don't trophy push often, don't upgrade it.
