Hi guys I'm a new town hall 7 and I'm saving up for teslas, barb king, and dark barracks
So I really want to use a balloonion army (balloons and minions) and my army camp space 185 (3 camps at level 6 one at level 3) so anyways I was wondering if I could do a balloonion strategy and if so how many balloons and how many minions?

Well actually, balloonions army is use for trophy hunting. Balloonions are not effective for th7. I suggest you to use Barbarians Archer army since you don't have High level minions.

Yeah minions work out to be expensive on the dark, your be needing to hit maxed Th8 and Th9 and (dare I say it) Th10 bases to pay for that loadout, best you stick with farming troops, unless your going to be using gems often.

TH7 and TH8 in the gold leagues don't expect to be miniballed, many have mediocre air defense or mediocre placement of those.
it's not good for farming elixir though.
my miniball army plus spells costs me 172k elixir and 240 dark elixir for each attack.
Just need to pick bases to attack in average that have more than that to offer in elixir.
So do I, plus I take 30 archers along for the dirty work or easy collector bases, when I find them. But we are both above Th7. I still remember how hard it was scraping together a few K's of dark at Th7, if he's going to use 40+ minions per attack like most BM users then I'm not sure how He'll find a few K's of dark per day, unless using BM at Th7 means he can suddenly start taking on towns with 2K plus dark and above cap of gold.Quote:

That I can believe, but using minions will cost you around 300 per attack, unless you want to go very loon heavy and then you will end up with a monster training time before each attack.Quote:

When I found out balloons were actually effective in large clumps, I began using them frequently, slightly gemming my way into level 3. After that, I town hall rushed into 8, to get my balloons to level 5. Then I saw the massive boost the level 6 balloon gave, so I rushed th 9 and here I am. Minions, for all I care don't have to be of a high level, (mine are only upgrading to 2). You could use minnions to kill no air def building and barb king and ground attack castle clan
here my trik
1. Always check castle clan for archer, wizard, dragon, minnion, etc
could using minnion to prevent ground troop like giants coming out
2. use hogs to kill hard to reach air def tower, need experience and if not lucky get killed by trap
3. Not my style, but always remember ballon on hard to win base mean clear some zone so we could farm using minnion

guys, I hear it often that you need balloons level 6. Of course they are better. All level 6 troops are better than level 5 troops.
however, from my experience, I bring in a lot of gold with my balloons level 5.
as a TH8, I farm TH7 ,TH8 and (seldom) TH9 with them.
You just need to make enough balloons (I bring 28 balloons, 30 minions and two rage spells), the ad should not be all level 4 and rage spells need to be placed properly.
TH7 with their two ad are pretty much without a chance against balloons level 5 and for TH8 it depens on the placement of the ad and their level. To farm TH9, it works if one or more ad are upgrading or low level and the xbows are not pointing upwards.
Many TH7 and TH8 have their teslas at level 1, which is also great for ballonion attacks.
archer towers are no threat to baloons. wizard towers can be, but many people upgrade them late, as they are expensive.
For emergency, have a dragon in your clancastle.
I don't think bloonions is a very good strategy for th7. I'd use barch/BAM for pushing (sniping ths, getting 50%) and farming. I train bloonions overnight, just for fun and some practice with the strategy. I found that having a ton of minions is better, and I normally bring 20-24 bloons and the rest minions, and sometimes one drag.
Deploy the bloons by spreading them out in an L shape, or on one side of the base. They do tons of damage, so they don't need to be grouped together, or else they'll get destroyed by air bombs and wiz towers. Then send in the minions right after, so your spells affect the minions as well as the bloons. Some of my clanmates like to send in a few bloons to take out each AD, although I don't think its very good.

Hey each their own, loons are fun and I also enjoy using them to farm, however 24/28 loons to farm a Th7 isn't about to win you the award for most effective farmer of the year. Giants healer can do the job just as well against th7 targets and will cost less and train faster, that being said nothing wrong with an overnight loon train, but try using these amazing troops on something a bit bigger than a Th7.Quote:
