Ipod broke. Will my base automaticaly delete??

So my Ipod 4th generation stopped charging. I assumed it was the charger so bought another one, when i plugged it in it my Ipod said "Charging is not supported with this accesory". So i tried again with my brothers charger and plugged it into my Wall and computer. When i plugged it into my computer it said Usb port malfunctioned try again or replace device. But the main question here is will my base delete if im not on for a long time? I plan on getting an ipad mini(or other devices, suggestion would be nice) but i might not be able to get one for a while so if its been a month or two will my base still be there because ive heard rumors of Supercell deleting AFK bases.

it will still work as long as you use the same game center

Your base will never be deleted, it is connected to your game center. So if you get a new device log into your game center and go into settings of the game and press link device.

it can be deleted but it will be really hard to do so. don't want to go into that here

As long as you know your gamecenter login, it is safe.
