How many GC friends do you have?

I have 63 GC friends and 30 followers. Now I know I might get a bit of flack for saying this but I'm quite funny when it come to adding friends.
Before I joined this forum ( at level 45/50 ish) I had 5 friends & around 30 followers.

I have this thing about needing to know people before I add them, basically if I've read some of their posts or they've replied to some of mine, I'd add them as a friend.If I receive a friend request from someone I've never heard of or don't recognise the name , I don't really add.
After all, if a stranger came up to me in the streets & asked if they could be my friend I'd feel awkward ... Unless he looked like Credendum ( sorry Credendum I couldn't resist that one). :p

I like the fact that I can remember all my friends names & which part of the world they live in, I even know roughly what age range they fall into ( well 90% of them ) I know that if I had 100's of friends I wouldn't be able to remember this. :cool:

No trouble, Ranger, and your thread is not off topic yet. :) My post is a precautionary measure to keep it from going off topic as well as an opportunity to post information that some folks here may not know about.

I currently have 161 GC friends, about 5-6 FB friends (they were already friends on FB for the past 4-5 years), I follow 5 farms, and currently have 6-7 following me.

I've had up to 167 GC friends, but like Cricks, though I do it more often and for a lesser timeframe, I go through and delete inactive friends. Every Sunday, I delete anyone who hasn't been playing for at least 2 weeks.

Also, like others have said, I accept all friend requests (GC only - want to keep GC and FB friends separate) and would be happy to accept any sent due to this thread. ;)

This is a very interesting take on this topic and one frankly I'd never considered before... In these days of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram it is very easy to lose the definition of a friend i like your point of view and thoughts:)

P.S. My info: United States east coast and lol a measly child in my teens:)

468, reached 500 and went to gc to clean everyone that havent played for a week

That doesn't matter Helen how i look, here it matters how good of a neighbour you are and i think i'm pretty good in helping you out with boat/watering ;) (and the other way 'round :cool:)
