Yesterday and today, my clanmates and I have been finding a lot more loot. This poll is to gauge how widespread the joy might be. Please post your town hall level and league in the comments. Thanks!
I'm TH8 in Gold III. Now finding 200K+ bases within 20-30 nexts, whereas for the past couple of weeks I could next 50+ times and be grateful for 150K.
Same! I'm a th8 who is in the same trophy range as you and saved up 2 million resources and 5000 dark in an hour just by barching. But yes, it is taking between 25-50 searches now :(
Was loot ever bad at th8?? My th6 mini is swimming in loot. Can't say the same for my th10.
I haven't see any improvement yet. As th8 I'm in the same range and everything is still pretty much just 100k bases. Really infuriating now that I'm starting on skull walls.
Seriously if anyone can direct me to some new guides or something (either through PM or here) you'd all be life savers. This 600k an hour is killing me.

Maxwell, yes it's been terrible at TH8 since the new loot system update (with the exception of the boost period). Before the update I wouldn't bother raiding for less than 200K gold. After the update, most of my matches had less than 50K (some less than 10K!), and I felt lucky to find 150K that I could take.Quote:

Loot for me at TH9 has been very consistent since about a week after the loot system was updated. I basically don't raid anything less than 200k gold (unless i find a super easy 100k I can take out with a few archers) and can find 200+ in ~20 searches.
During that time i've also found 3 bases that offered 1 million+ total resources. Unfortunately I failed them all but 700-800k is still pretty nice :p
Maybe i'm the luckiest player in the game but loot has been so easy the last few weeks, better than TH7 days which I thought i'd never beat.
Edit - to the people complaining about loot, how often are you changing trophy ranges? Are you still using the same range as before the update and simply complaining instead of experimenting? Loot is still there but a quick glance at how the loot system works now makes it easy to see you should change targets.
Finding more of a mixture now tbh. has been pretty poor for a while, and still is for around half the time I am raiding. But definitely starting to find more loot.
Keep at it guys, hopefully things will start going back to how they were, plus some as SC intended. It may not all be doom and gloom.

Yes DidI, we've been moving up and down the trophy ladder and trying different armies. I've even tried raiding at the exact same time and trophy level as a clanmate who was finding loot and found nothing myself. The loot eventually dried up for him as well.Quote:
