What to use gems on ?

Save them for the builders. It will take a long time to get the 4th & 5th, but you can do it without spending money if you try. Achievements & clearing rocks, bushes, and trees will get you gems.

been playing for awhile 47/60 achievements completed been thinking of buying gems not sure?

stuff is starting to cost more now that I'm at level 86 what helps is being in the crystal league which gives me 100 dark and 34000 gold and elixir
