Hello from a new chief. looking for hints on next step

I'm new here and just started playing a few days ago. First game I have played in i don't know how long.
A little background on my camp. I did spend $9.99 on gems to get builders huts (no more money ever though) so I have 4 builders.
Im TH3. I have a walled area , mostly level 1 walls but 1/3 are level 2. in that area is a mortar, l3 archer tower, 2 L4 cannon, a level 4 and level 5 gold storage and a L5 and L6 elixir storage as well as my TH L3. its all that would fit and I can't build a bigger space yet. everything else is out side
I have 3 L5 gold mines . 2-L5 and 1-L 6 elixir collectors. a lab working on making archers L2 and my best barracks is level 5. and last but not least 1-L2 and 1-L3 army camps. Oh. and 2 bombs.

I survived my first 3 defenses and now have 93 trophies. my shield just went down maybe 4 hours ago. almost all of the trophies were lost by my attackers. I did revenge 2 of them but they had very little to get. I guess I was just mad seeing I had never been attacked before.

So where do I go from here: Do I bother with attacking the computer goblins any more? is there a point when I shouldn't bother upgrading collectors and is that point now? (it seems ridiculous expensive and long now)

what should I upgrade next?

any guidance like that would be appreciated

Many players spend time getting trophies, but this isn't needed. Try to get gold and upgrade everything that you can before upgrading the town hall. Also, upgrade your army camps so you have more troops. P.S. Don't forget to rebuild the clan castle.

Welcome to the Forum

Clash is a fun game, and there is no right or wrong way to play. Have fun meeting new people and finding the right clan (which is supportive and helpful with this type of information). You can't go wrong if you always focus on building a solid defence, and learning the best offensive strategies for looting and cup pushing. It's up to you how you choose to play.

My suggestion, go to youtube, and search 'clash of clans farming' - there are tonnes of video's on the how part, the rest is the fun of the game, in keeping your builders busy and stirring clannies - goodluck :cool:

i would recomend that you watch "Daddy's" tutorials as mentioned above in the link! i wish you the best of luck!

I wouldn´t recommend you to watch any youtube videos about people playing clash of clans, its just waste of time, and mostly use gem. I would upgrade the splash-damage-defense first: that is mortars, and wizard towers.

I should max out defense in every way before I upgrade my TH. Correct? and clan castle as soon as possible?

What about collectors? should they be maxed out before TH upgrade to 4?

other than the clan castle I pretty much have everything straight. must have been why I survived being attacked
where does the lab figure into this though? should it be on the back burner for a bit until I upgrade my TH or should I upgrade lab and all troups before I upgrade the town hall.

Collectors is not important at the moment, because the dont give you much resources. Yea max everything before upgrading townhall. The lab makes troops stronger, cost dark elexir and elexir.
