Welcome. What level are you stuck at?
If you have a roadside stand yet, sell stuff there to get it out of your barn. Set prices cheap, if necessary.
You might try "wheating." Plant all your fields with wheat, harvest it to get barn expansion materials. Sell the wheat cheap in your stand, just to get rid of it.
As for the frogs...if you buy a pond, the frogs will eventually find it and jump into it.
You can use the trading thread to trade things for barn expansion items, you can wheat(there is thread at the top on this) and you can look through neighbor shops and the DD for barn expansion items to buy. There is also a thread called smiley/pay it forward, check that thread often people give stuff away, including expansion materials.
My frogs went away once I got a pond decoration.
Welcome to Hay Day and the forum! Feel free to friend me. I sell off barn, silo and land expansion items all the time. I would be happy to help you.
We all started out like you. It will get easier.
As far as the frogs are concerned, it is because of the puddles you have on your farm. Some farms are over-run with them. They will eventually go back to the puddles or river. When you have enough coins you can buy a small pond and put it by the river. If one gets past your pond then drag it on top of the frog, give it a tap and no more frog.
Yes, the Daily Dirt (the newspaper) is a good source for barn expansion materials, especially in the lower levels. I noticed that when I started a new farm recently. I think it's because you only see ads for items available on your level. In the lower levels, with fewer items available, a greater proportion of ads are building materials, which are available from the beginning.
Also, it took me awhile to realize the newspaper has many pages. I didn't realize you could turn the pages, and was just looking at the first page. Go through the whole paper. I like to quickly skim through it looking for expansion materials (they go fast!), then go back and click on the other ads.
If coins to buy the expansion materials is the problem, sell stuff in your roadside stand. Greg and the other in-game characters don't pay well, and neither do truck/boat orders. Concentrate on coins over experience points. No point in leveling up fast if you can't afford any of the new things available on new levels.

“Signatures” are very helpful little “footnotes” that print at the bottom of every post you make. To create your signature, tap on Settings in the bar menu in the upper right of any forum page. Scroll down and browse the left side until you reach My Settings. Under that you'll find Edit Signature. Tap to open and insert what you'd like others to know about you.
Very helpful to include:
Game Center ID and or Facebook URL
Game Level and Farm name
Device and iOS version (or same for Android)
KIK ID (or other messaging system you may plan to use for trading)
When done, tap Save signature and this information will show below each post you make. Remember to update your signature as information, especially your game level, changes.
With all that to get you started, a warm welcome to our forums. :)
I have done a lot of selling, looking for building material. I just opened my boat this morning, filled a crate, yeah. But keep gettung stuck with full barn. I will look round more
Hi and welcome!
Just for your info....I've never seen anyone complain about having an empty barn yet!
In other words...were all in the same big old paddle-boat, and it just goes on and on and on as you do in the game -along with the silo of course!
One other source is the good old "red tool-box"...
try this link (from the main sticky I think forum age 1) if it works!

Ain't that the truth. I bet those people with 10,000 barns still think it's not enough. ;)
However, choosing to sell via the RSS instead of prioritizing truck/boat orders can help with the full barn problem. There's less need to keep an inventory then. You can just make whatever's most profitable and sell it immediately, instead of having to stockpile stuff in the barn.
Selling fruit is another useful strategy. You can make decent coins doing that, and it doesn't take up any barn space.
