GLOBAL BANNING/REPORTING - Reducing banned time to 1-4 hrs

Hi

I am aware that a lot of us are being banned on global for no apparent reason, just because we're over lvl 100 in a top clan. I have tried to change my approach and whatnot to how I talk on global. Despite my efforts to adjust to how I communicate on global, it still doesn't change the fact that there a people that are abusing the report button just for the spite of it.

Possible ways that SUPERCELL can address this could be to increase the number of reports required for a ban, or once a player reaches that limit, have a filter to go through all the comments reported, if there are inappropriate messages then it would be more reasonable that that player be banned.

Another alternative is to reduce the ban time to 1-4 hrs which is a lot more reasonable than a 24hr ban. Please take this into consideration, as we're all just trying to play the game, and hope that this suggestion might take into effect.

Please take part in the poll, I hope it would give SUPERCELL an indication of how many would like for this reduced ban to be taken into action.

I voted no, we shouldn't reduce it, just find a better way to fix it.

I voted yes, I would rather see global reporting removed altogether but since that's not going to happen anytime soon this sounds like a great idea.

Do you have other ways that you could possibly propose that is reasonable for SUPERCELL to implement?

I think that this, at least, is a good temporary solution until SUPERCELL does fix that reporting system if they ever do. I do also like the idea of having a comment box pop-up for the person to state their reasons for reporting. I know in other games, if there are inappropriate gameplay or messages in chatbox, then there is a list of options for them to select from as to why they're reporting someone. Usually has a comment section for them to say why they're reporting someone.

Having said that, they do need a team to go through all that and moderate/justify someone being banned, but right now, the whole reporting system is very flawed and does need a lot of attention from SUPERCELL. They're getting so much revenue, I can't see why they can't invest time and resources to resolve a major issue for a lot of the players.

Completely agree. If the entire system is not modified, I would like to see the report time shortened, but I think that reason box would solve the problem.

report button is just insane, i don't understand why SC is do nothing about this

Like with the loot problem, there are good solutions, but they usually get ignored. For example, high level and high league players could be exempt from reporting. Or sc could implement some algorithm to shove some penalty to report-abusers/reduce report counts this way/ignore false reports. It would not be too hard to do really. But, then again, maybe report button stays as it is for the fun of it, just like everything else?

I think the global banning is funny. I heard of how all these people where getting banned so I started bleeping things out but I never got banned then a little while ago, I'm recruiting and there was this other person and he said top 10000 clan here and I said well my clan is top 1000 clan(we really were) and then I get banned were all I say is my clan is better then yours.
